Spurs Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Willmar

You could tell right away they were overwhelmed... But even at that, they really made us feel welcomed. We were pretty hesitant to go here because we had a large party of about 20 people. They told us they just got done hosting a wedding and weren't quite prepared, but they got everything together. They have a full bar and a full kitchen.. Basic pub fare, but really good burgers and onion rings... Not a huge selection to eat or drink, but it was all tasty... There were a few hiccups, like they forgot some of the orders, but like I said they were overwhelmed. They have karaoke and the bar guy will really try and make you sing... I mean, REALLY try. It was all in fun... I'll definitely remember this place and look forward to going back... P.S., I think the kitchen person is also the owner. She was particularly overwhelmed and we worked her to death. She was really sweet and thanked us...

Cannot say enough good things about Spurs Restaurant. It was clean, great music and the owners were so friendly and helpful. They explained the menu to us and gave excellent suggestions and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They have seriously the BEST friend pickles I have ever had and their special dipping sauce is out of this world. I also appreciated that they did something special for my dad's birthday. I would definitely recommend checking them out. We will definitely be back, especially seeing they told us they will be adding special seasonal items to the menu. I love downtown, and on my bucket list was the new(ish) restaurant, Spurs. When you walk in you yet a warm greetings from the fantastic atmosphere and welcoming music. Although I haven't had everything, the group I came with decided to order everything. (Although we didn't try wings) Everyone thought the food was amazing. I personally had "Burbon Swiss Burger".
