We had the BEST festive time at Geraci’s in Willoughby last night! From the time we stepped out of freezing cold into the warm, toasty, friendly atmosphere! Great Christmas tunes were playing which was perfect as that’s the vibe we wanted. There was a slight wait and we were offered and brought water in line. People were saying Merry Christmas to those in line/door dashers as they left! We got a special tour/peek outside at the patio as we waited - such a quaint, cozy spot!
The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! EVERYTHING!!! Fried moz and ravioli apps, then 2 pizzas (meat for our friends and veggie for us) were all outstanding! We had roasted red, olive, and onion with the ‘hot honey’ added which is a MUST! Cooked perfectly with excellent crust and flavors. We ate the whole pizza! I believe it was the Owner who brought us a sample of their locally grown lettuces as small side salads and it was so crispy and fresh! He and our server (did not catch her name) were so attentive and made us feel like family. We ended with cannolis which were super fresh with a perfectly crispy/light crunch shell (not soggy) and lightly sweet filling. Prices are reasonable/on par. We already knew the food is great as we do carryout (love the eggplant), but the dine in was perfect from start to finish and we can’t wait...
Read moreLove Geraci’s University Heights spent most of my college years and my early work years loving the pizza and food. Went to a football game in Shaker in August and had pizza and salad and it was still so awesome! Tried the Willoughby one last night. Ordered a large carryout order two chicken parm dinners, one egg plant parm and a large pizza! At $26.00 a dinner the chicken parm dinner totally disappointed, totally overcooked and such a small amount of food. The eggplant parm (22.00) was over done and maybe had three slices of eggplant. The pasta amount with both entrees could not have been more than a half cup. The sausage on the pizza had the same delicious taste but the pepperoni which is our favorite was also burned. The salads and the dressing had the same great taste. We definitely would not rush back again. In a town where Zappitelli’s prices are slightly less and the portions are way larger $20.00 entree of chicken parm . A giant chicken cutlet and a ton of pasta this is a tough sell. Price never bothers us as long as the food is good, we so wanted it...
Read moreLove love love this place!! My fiance and I were looking for a great small business/family owned place to eat for Valentine’s Day and we immediately got seated. Server was super friendly and so was the owner! Immediately got greeted on the way in, striked up a conversation with us and everything! We ordered a white pizza and a small honey pie pizza because we were hesitant but let me just say the honey pizza was phenomenal!! It’s not too spicy, slightly sweet and it pairs very well with the tomato sauce surprisingly!! And don’t get me started on the Italian sausage crumbles!! The best Italian sausage I’ve ever had from a pizza place. I told them I loved their pizza and we will be regular customers and the sweet gentleman who owns the place gave us a free small cheese pizza coupon for the next time...
