Pizza For U — Restaurant in Wilmington

Re-editing the review 1/2/23: At this point we are done with this place. Last time we ordered, we ordered a double dough pizza, and it was not double dough. I'm not sure what they did, but it was way thinner than normal. Then today, the girl (I believe her name was Emily) who answered the phone was not pleasant to speak with. She seemed ok at first, but when I asked how long for delivery to my home, I could hear the attitude change in her voice and she just seemed annoyed. I tried to redeem the deal of the 10 pizza tabs, and was rudely told that they don't honor that anymore as of 1/1/23. To be honest I don't believe her, because it felt like she just didn't want to deal with it. It is unfortunate, because we liked their pizza and that deal kept us coming back.

Very disappointed in this place. We had become very loyal customers to Pizza For U, ordered from here quite often.

So they have this deal where if you save the pizza tabs, you can exchange 10 of them for a free 12 inch cheese pizza. They've said that it is only for the pan or thin crust, but we prefer the double dough. In the past, we have asked if we could get the double dough with this deal, and just pay the difference, which we had no problem doing. When we had first asked about this, the employee I spoke with wasn't sure if they could, he checked with the manager, and the manager approved it, said yeah that it was fine. We gave them enough business that we were able to use that deal a few times.

Now, all of the sudden, they refuse to honor that. The manager insists that is not something they do, and says that is something they never should have done. It is only a few dollars difference, so if they are willing to lose good customers over a few dollars, then that's on them. It is just a shame that they seem to not value customer service anymore. Needless to say we will not be giving them...

I'm 90% sure they just straight up ignored my 3 calls because it was close to closing time. When I mean close by the way, it was almost 45 to 40 min before closing according to the Google hours. I've heard of and worked at a place that did that, either by turning off the phones early or just letting them ring out. Then the staff there would wonder why when people called or came in earlier the next they were agitated. As if they didn't know. So I know places will straight up do that. Which is backwards and terrible business all the way around. In the other 10% chance that they were legitimately closed. The onus still lies on them due to the fact that they have not changed this stores current operational hours on their website to make sure their customer base is well informed and not irritated that they can't get through. So either side of the fence is still their fault. Its either malicious if they ignored the call just so they can close early, or website maintenance is lackluster and makes them look like and probably do care less about the store's business and...

4-22-16 at 5 pm I ordered a gyro pizza. We order all the time this type of pizza, well this was our order, a monster gyro, extra meat, 1/2 tomatoes, NO ONIONS!!! I REPEAT NO ONIONS, well the pizza got here on time, when the kid got out of the car I seen the pizza slide, he tells me the price I pay him, mind you 32.00$ . I start to walk in the house I smell Onions, I tell the kid to hold on. I open the box it had 1/2 tomatoes 1/2 extra ONIONS No extra meat, and the pizza was slid to 1 side of the box, I told him to take it back. The driver didn't say sorry he just said I'll bring you a new one. I told him no. I called pizza 4 u told the man on the phone my name he said he was the 1 who took my order so I said remember I said no onions he said yes he did I asked him why my pizza not only had onions but extra onions. No extra meat. Now here is the best part NEVER DID HE SAY SORRY OR ANYTHING just that he can send us a new pizza, by then I was using a few cuss words. Never once did he say we could get a free pizza or anything. I'm sorry but that is piss poor...
