This place is amazing. Very special things are happening inside these walls beyond coffee. The best bagel I have eaten, this maple biscuit they make is simple but yet complex , the texture of it , the crispy flakey outter layer tells you the skill whoever makes this , truly has . I'm literally more impressed each time I eat one . The cookies are amazing, the baker is second to none.. I have not been fortunate enough to catch the donuts yet , but I will one day! Oh wait , how could I forget the bread pudding square, listen the cinnamon bun one was very very good , then I had the French toast 😋 The person who makes this is showing the genius level in which they have achieved ! Each bite was good but once I had the bite with strawberry on top , it was like cullinary magic ! We don't know each other , but we connect through your work...
Read moreI’m sad because people hype these cinnamon rolls up and what I’ve had was a dry, bready cinnamon roll with icing (which was honestly the best part but what isn’t there to love about any icing). Now, the cinnamon roll was pretty below average.. however the coffee - especially for a coffee shop - was pretty awful unfortunately.. my mocha tasted like straight up milk with a hint of bitterness and my husbands americano tasted like lobby coffee.. sad because the coffee shop has amazing coffee equipment but it doesn’t even matter.. sadly we won’t be back, however that one extra star we left is because this coffee shop is located next to our favorite pizza place and our...
Read moreThis is a cafe serving all day breakfast as well as lunch options. We came in around noon and ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. They were out of bagels so it was served on sourdough toast which was disappointing but fine. However, the toast was dry rather than being buttered, the egg is a frozen reheated wet sponge rather than a fresh egg, and even though we dined in - everything is served in a to-go container rather than a plate, there is not even salt and pepper available without having to open a plastic utensil pack. If I wanted a Wawa experience, I’d go to Wawa and pay $3 for a breakfast sandwich, but if I’m paying $8.50 for a BEC, I do expect more than a reheated frozen egg on dry bread served in paper bag. Sorry we...
