Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Nova Cafe after three disappointing visits. I really wanted to like this place and was hoping to find a reliable morning stop on my way to work. However, each visit presented significant issues that ultimately led me to look elsewhere. Visit 1: Ordered an acai bowl that arrived completely melted - essentially soup consistency with minimal toppings. The entire bowl was inedible and went straight into the trash. Complete waste of time and money. Visit 2: Breakfast sandwich came out on the wrong bread after an excessively long wait. While they eventually corrected it, the delay and initial mistake were concerning. Visit 3: This was the final straw. I ordered a breakfast sandwich to-go and waited 15 minutes before asking about my order. That's when I discovered neither staff member had actually submitted the order to the kitchen - it was never made. When I needed to leave for an appointment, they couldn't figure out how to process a refund. Main Issues:

Inconsistent food quality (melted acai bowl) Order accuracy problems Excessive wait times Poor staff training/communication Basic operational failures (orders not submitted, refund confusion)

Three strikes and they're out. As someone noted, "NOVA" in Spanish means "no go" - and that's exactly my recommendation. I won't be returning and suggest others look elsewhere for their morning coffee and breakfast needs.

I truly hope they can get their act together. The area needs a great...

The Nova Cafe in Wilton is a true gem, offering an oasis of fresh, healthy, and absolutely delectable options. The standout of their menu has to be the Açai Bowl, which elevates the concept to a whole new level. Each bowl is a vibrant blend of finely blended açai, adorned with an array of colorful and crunchy toppings that add texture and layers of flavor. From the first bite, you experience a burst of sweetness, underlined by the subtle tartness of the açai, perfectly harmonized with the freshness of seasonal fruits and the crunch of granola. The bowl not only delights your taste buds but is visually appealing as well, making for an enjoyable and nutritious experience that leaves you feeling nourished and satisfied. The Nova Cafe certainly raises the bar when it comes to blending taste, health, and...

Newer cafe with maybe a dozen tables inside and out. Well done resto-mod with great space in an original colonial building, complete with two fireplaces. Soft "Yacht Rock" from the 70s playing in the background. Service was fast and super friendly. There is a wide range of breakfast and lunch options available. The unique multigrain croissant was unexpectedly excellent. My breakfast sandwich was just OK. The toast was lightly toasted and ended up spongy. There was maybe one piece of thin, chewy bacon, short of the 2-3 thick, crispy pieces as pictured. Eggs were good, they make them only oven-baked with no egg-white option. Pricey but worth it.

Second visit, I got the multigrain croissant again (it's just brilliant) and tried the overnight oats. Fun varieties, rich, and very good....

Unfortunately the lattes we ordered were not lattes. I received hot milk with little espresso flavor. I am unsure if the coffee beans were not actually espresso beans, or if the barista was not trained in making espressos or cappuccinos. It tastes like hot milk with no stretching nor foaming. It was just heated milk but with no air in it. No frothing no creamy texture to the drinks… I don’t know if the barista was not trained or if the beans were not correct. I saw a good machine for making lattes or cappuccinos so I don’t know what went wrong. I shared photos of what we received. Cute place nice location but I am willing to try again in a few months from a different barista or someone who is well trained as a coffee connoisseur.
