I popped into Press Burger on River Road in Wilton and was pleasantly surprised. The location has a fun, modern vibe—bright, clean, with funky local touches and colorful branding across the interior. 

Highlights: • Fresh, juicy burgers with tons of topping options: be sure to try the Double Warrior or the Reuben burger—delicious flavor combos with house sauces and crispy elements like potato chips.  • Surprisingly good fries, cooked in non‑GMO sunflower oil for a cleaner bite.  • Efficient service—ordered lunch, was in line during a busy midday rush, and my meal was ready quickly. Staff seemed friendly and organized. 

Why it stands out: • Uses grass‑fed, hormone‑free beef, all‑natural hot dogs and antibiotic‑free chicken, with a focus on cleaner fast-­casual food. It feels more mindful than your typical fast food.  • They recently added fried chicken sandwiches and even a “carrot dog” (a veggie hot dog alternative) that apparently converts skeptics.

Ate here today for a late lunch. Service was excellent. The gentleman who took my order was very kind. We tried the Korean Burger and the BBQ Burger. The burger is small but the quality is high. I've seen some comparisons to Shake Shack on some reviews here. This is a better quality burger than Shake Shack. I looked up the size of the patties at Shake Shack and they are also 4 oz so maybe it's a presentation thing where the Shack's burgers appear to be bigger but they aren't. The fries were delicious and we easily shared one order and dare I say they were better than Shake Shack fries which can be hit or miss. If I wasn't already full I would have loved to try the pudding. Next...
