Bogie's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Winchester

After working 13 hours today, I decided to reward myself and my family with ice cream treats from Bogie's. The shakes I've ordered before were so good, I decided to try a different flavor and I ordered the Butter Lover's shake and my husband ordered a Chocolate shake. The two shakes we received tonight will be our last. When we were served our shakes, they were very thin, not the usual "you almost suck your tongue down your throat" thicker shakes. Literally, both were atleast 3 inches from the top serving line in the cup and more like a cup of plain milk. When I remarked that they weren't as thick as usual, the girl asked me if I wanted her to add more ice cream to thicken the shakes and I replied that indeed, I did. Another girl came to the window to tell me they'd do it this time but, next time order my shake "thick" because they measure the correct amount of ice cream for each shake to begin with and they'd have to charge me an upcharge next time if they had to add more ice cream. Seriously!? BTW, a Butter Lover's milkshake shouldn't contain blueberries so, I also know your establishment isn't cleaning the shake mixer well, if at all, between customers. $13 down the drain. Slow service sometimes. The last time we ordered I got the usual for my boys "the dirty dump" and came back with an Oreo ice cream with worms on it. Didn't catch it until we went the mile home so I called just to let them know that way they didn't mess up someone else's order and she seemed less than thrilled that I didn't wanna go back and just called to...

Nice, clean looking exterior with a good bit of charm. My flurry was exactly what I asked for and the young ladies who took my over were friendly, happy/smiley and really seemed to pay attention and care about my order.

In summary: nice, clean dairy bar, serviced by a well raised/trained staff serving food, small town...
