Gloria's Pizzeria & Grill — Restaurant in Winchester

I was going to give a bad review until the Manager personally called me late on a Saturday night. I'm a loyal Gloria's customer. When I was on maternity leave I ordered weekly. I've never had an issue until now. I love Gloria's and always will. Today I placed an order online and it didn't go through on the stores end but it took the money from my account. I called and told them about this. Unfortunately the manager wasn't on site and because of this I had an awful experience. The girls answering the phones are only good at answering the phones. I understand being a 17 yr old working my first fast food job but after a point the customer might actually be right. Especially when there isn't a manager on duty and they are the ones to make the final decision. I called and explained my issue and that I had my family over and honestly didn't have time for them to have online issues, I said I just needed to feed the family and the kids needed to go to bed soon and if she could just make the order and take all of my information (I even offered her my first born child) I would gladly pay if my payment doesn't process but as of now my bank says I paid so in my opinion I paid for this food. Over and over I was told "I hear you and there is nothing I can do without a manager " I continued to be told this without any sympathy. I continued to go back and forth with the girls on the phone , continuously being put on hold, being told they were calling the manager. To the point where I was like honestly I don't have time for this. My kids go to bed soon, and we just need dinner. The person on the phone keeps telling me the manager is telling her there is nothing she can do, and I'll get my money back eventually. So I went to the store to show them how the money was taken out of my account. I get there, and I'm still told the same thing: "You aren't hearing me , there is nothing we can do." She had ZERO sympathy.

Finally, I get a random call after I go home and forget about this MESS. It's the manager. He apologized completely for this issue, offers to hand deliver my food for me, and tells me he would have given me the food...

so i no longer now order the subs or dinners much anymore ( the dinners every once in a great blue moon but hardly) or the pizza ( but it does sort of look like it improved and got better the last few years) but what i LOVE about this place is their AMAZING Pasta Plates!! they seriously make the FRESHEST Ravioli ( which i previously didnt like much but gotten used to it) and WOW!! the Stuffed Shells! my two recommended and favorites if you order off the Pasta Section you will NOT be disappointed i add a Meatball and Sausage ( extra ) for only about a $1 more and it is PLENTY since it comes with a dinner roll each plate and has TONS of sauce for the amount you get. but it is made so well i now dont even care anymore for the subs i used order they are good but for the extra 5$ these are SO much better and you are full and satisfied after im so glad this place is SO CLOSE to my house that if i want Italian, Pizza, Subs, Salads, Calzones, and other pizzeria stuff it is 10 ( less in the summer when the weather is nice) walk away! this may be a Pizza Shop but their Fresh Menu will blow you away it has the freshest tastiest ingredients used daily in Winchester ( next to Toscanos they are tough to compete against) in Town come here for lunch dinner or whenever they are also really quick and accurate ordering over the phone and deliver in less than 30-40 mins you cannot go wrong here it is the best around anywhere in the...

I have been going to glorias for a long time. Not once have I had bad service via phone, pick up, or delivery. Today 4/14/22. Was the worst. 11:15 am I ordered antipasto salad and a drink. I ordered early because my lunch is at 12 noon. Woman on the phone told me 45 minutes. I was ok with the time frame. 12:15 rolls around, 12:30, 12:40, 12:45 no delivery. I called Gloria's, same woman who took my order answered tge phone. Informed her to cancell my order cause my lunch was over. Driver came informed the driver I canceled the order cause my lunch was over. I called them back wanting an explanation why it took an hour and a half for my delivery. Because we had two drivers. That's not the issue. She was going to transfer me to the owner. I hung up. Woman on the other end was rude, and no help in resolving the situation.
