Honestly I was excited , I called ahead and he said he prepped all the chicken it’s never frozen. It’s fresh so I was looking forward to it . So I’ll go with the good first . The chicken cutlet breaded BLT was good. I don’t really have a complaint about that. It was pricey, But very good as for the grilled chicken with the pesto mayo it was unfortunately so rubbery that I couldn’t even eat it. I tried to offer my husband, he couldn’t eat it either. It was just very, very bad texture like not edible. The bread was completely soggy as well. I’m upset bc for 13$ for just a hard roll I expected better it was a waste of my money they have potential but that just wasn’t good first time … the let my husband taste test the chili and soup those were good as well . Maybe I’ll go back and try again but I wasn’t happy 30$ for two hard rolls and couldn’t even eat one of them had to go to work hungry . On a recent visit to winsted stopped in the Northwest soup and Sandwich company. And I'm sure glad I did. I ordered the drunken parm 12-in grinder and a 12-in chicken cutlet BLT. The place was packed on a Tuesday afternoon and I knew with all those people there that I had found the right spot. The staff was attentive and courteous despite the weight which I am fine with and you should be too. The sandwiches were filling tasty, delicious and served on a wonderful grinder roll. The drunken parm had the right combination of cheese, crisp and sauce and the chicken cutlet BLT was just awesome. Chock full of chicken, bacon, lettuce and tomato. I love to find local shops with hard-working people delivering good food, good quality, and exceptional service. This place is it. Don't worry about the weight. They'll take care of you. Sit back, relax and enjoy sandwiches and grinders in an Italian style deli the way that it used to be. I will be coming back for sure. Well...

Soups are typically not the focus of a meal, usually a precursor to a more solid main course. Chef Brian has elevated soups to an entirely new level. Where the soup is the most anticipated and the main reason for the entire meal! I’ve had only his version of tomato; and creamy potato creations so far. What would normally be considered relatively “simple” offerings, he has turned into something your taste buds want to have a complete conversation about what their experiencing amongst themselves! While your mind can only come up with no more than, oh my! oh my! oh this is sooo goooood!!!!
