Usually the staff is super friendly. I went last week during the heat wave and I got rolled ice cream honey dew flavor with pineapple topping. I was driving while eating and I was so shocked when I tasted the pineapple. It was so vinegary and it felt like my mouth was burning. I threw the pineapple out of the window. I didn’t get the chance to eat the rolled ice cream because I was driving. About 2 hours later, after driving back to Winsted I stopped back in to explain about the pineapple. The gentleman with bleached blonde hair provided horrible customer service. He ridiculed me and asked where is the ice cream? He scoffed at me when I explained that the pineapple felt like it burned my mouth due to how vinegary it was. I don’t believe that most people will enjoy vinegary pineapple - and I actually enjoy vinegary flavor profile, thats how off it tasted. I didn’t go in to ask for another rolled ice cream, I simply wanted to let them know that my pineapple tasted like that. It seemed he thought that I wanted to get another ice cream. He insisted that it was supposed to taste like that. When his female coworker came in, he started aggressively explaining what I explained. In the end, they ended up refunding me but it was so uncomfortable because of their attitude. I’m a local and loved my past experiences, so if you come in don’t complain. I would give 0 zeros...
Read moreGO TRY THIS RIGHT NOW!!! Seriously if you have never had boba, you will be extremely delighted to know you have an outstanding boba spot close by. I could not believe that my mom actually had a real bubble tea spot in town. I reside in san diego county, california, where boba is like starbucks on every corner and you have to try each one to figure out which is best. Here you do not have to do that because this is even better than the best spot I have in california. Usually I stick to my usual, wintermelon, sweet, with boba… but here I could not help to trust the owner to make me whatever she thinks I would like… anddd I loved every single one! She is super friendly and takes pride in her boba!
Go go go!!!!...
Read moreI didn't know this place existed until recently when I saw them post on FB. I'm a fan of Mama Pho which has the same owner and is next door to this spot. The people working there were friendly. I could only find street parking. The shop is small with a couple of chairs; it seems to be mainly a takeout spot.
They sell some specialty Asian snacks, I even saw Labubus, and there was even a game console. Their main offerings are milk teas, boba teas, fruit teas, smoothies, bubble waffles rolls, and ice cream rolls. I had the Papa's milk tea and it was delicious; it had boba, jelly, and bs jelly. It was very tasty. I highly recommend if you're in the area and...
