I'm torn, really. I eat here all the time and the food is good. The owners are no-nonsense, none of this asking for a number to reach you on or mucking around. You call, they say "ok", you hang up, you get a delicous pizza. If you're just a few cents over a good dollar amount like 20 they'll sometimes just toss you the extra coins rather than waste your time. Plus they seem like good people just trying to make a living.
In all the - frankly - years that I've been going to this restaurant I've only ever had a problem twice.
But those two times were...pretty bad.
Once I was misunderstood and they thought I wanted two large pizzas which was uh...a lot of pizza for one guy to eat.
The other time I got a steak and cheese calzone which had so much bone in it that I ultimately gave up eating it and threw it out. You can't imagine a more disgusting sensation than biting into bone where you don't expect it, again, and again, and again.
Ultimately though, I think the bad outweighs the good. Definitely give them a try, odds are far and away in your favor you'll get an amazing pizza...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely post reviews, and it is usually for exceptionally good or poor service. I recently moved to the area and naturally you start trying all the local takeout options. After 3 tries, I can now say with certainty I will not be going back here and their menu os going in the recycling bin. Their pizza os just OK, pan style but a bit thinner than normal for the style. The hot and cold subs are terrible. If you like bread you are pretty much getting a bread sandwich. Even worse than Subway standards at twice the price. Thier pricing has also gone up 50% with portions being reduced as well makes this not worth it. You pay as much for takeout as you would for chain restaurant service that would also include drinks. I get the supply chain shortages and inflation but they are way out of line in comparison to others. Hope they change things around as it would be a close local option for me. I would look elsewhere as Windham has much better options for pizza and subs with better quality and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFriendly place but this isnāt a social event. The food is over priced, the amount of food you get is dismal. 4 slices of cold cuts is not enough to fill a finger sandwich never mind a small sub. I ordered an Italian and it was made so incorrectly i thought I was having a mental breakdown or this was a joke. Low quality meat made poorly and over priced is not a good recipe for success. If the owner reads this I have some advice. Do some research on how a proper sandwich is made, what takes the meal from ordinary to Outstanding. Italian sub should have Provolone cheese (mild), Genoa Salami, Mortadella, Cappocolla, lettuce, tomatoes, onions (red) and pickles. Now if you want to take it up a level you can add prosciutto and swap the Genoa for some soppressata.
Cherry peppers can be added along with a dash of extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar. Or you could do a Balsamic.
This is just my take and Iām Just one person. Good luck with...
