Ordered their signature “runway margarita” but got well liquor instead. Horribly unbalanced. Supposed to have Grand Marnier and I watched the bartender use triple sec instead saying “the manager told me to do that”. She gave me an attitude and argued with me. Seemed like a normal occurrence as the other bartender tried to apologize, but by that time some man came up and said “I can remake that or you can talk to a state trooper”. Weird place, it’s called Beercode but there is not much choice of beers to choose from. The drink menu is bizarre: the French Brut Champagne ($13) is cheaper than the Prosecco ($18) and cheaper than a beer. In all my years of going to restaurants, I’ve never seen anything like that (the order is always beer, then Prosecco, then Champagne as most expensive.) And, surprise, surprise, when I tried to order a glass of Champagne, I was told that they were out and I was redirected to the overpriced Prosecco (no thanks). Very limited menu. I was walking by Beercode smelling this wonderful burger grilling. I told my sister let’s go here to eat. The restaurant was full of this delicious smell of grilled burgers. The waiter was great. When the burgers came it was grilled looked great. It tasted good but not great. It lacked seasoning (if you love that extra flavor) it was good for an unseasoned burger. I was just a little disappointed because it smelled sooo good. Other than that it was cooked to the wellness of ordered. The lattice, tomato was fresh, bacon was good.
