A.J Deli — Restaurant in Windsor

If everyone knew how unsanitary this place was you guys most likely would NOT EAT HERE! I myself has worked in a restaurant for over 18 years and I started working here last week and was disgusted by the dirty stainless steel and how they mever wipe under items on the food prep counters. They cross contaminate everything. They don't even wipe the slicer in-between cheeses and different meats. They don't even take apart the slicer at the end of the day and clean it. The job I would have loved and enjoyed but I can NOT Be a part of a restaurant/deli that is this dirty and unsanitary. I would have sent you a private review but you have no link to connect. However, very disappointed in my sandwich today $16 for approximately a 7" very thin Philly Cheesesteak. (Ridiculous) Minimal steak provided and you up charged for Lettuce and tomato. No other sandwich Shop in the area up charges for those add ons!

You should take a trip down to Mojo's on Day Hill Road and see what products they provide for the prices they are charging.

i go here maybe once a week to get a sandwich and a snapple after work. i gotta say i love it. the place is a small local deli that makes everything fresh. iv had a bit of every thing and i have yet to have something i dont like. the staff is nice and friendly and the place screams wholesome. my only gripe would be that is is a bit on the pricey side, there cheapest starting at like 7 bucks, but its worth it in the end. if you want a great sub go...
