Updated to add: The owners response to my initial review was condescending and rude. I showed empathy each time I called and hung up each time defeated and unsure what to do and just waited patiently but had to call back at the 3 he mark. We have been doing our part since March 2020 to be safe and still order out weekly to help support the restaurant industry. So please don’t question that or imply otherwise. I sat in the parking lot for three hours and watched people go in, eat and come out over and over and over again. I understand the busyness and I understand being understaffed. What I don’t understand is being told wait times twice (the second time I was put on hold so she could ask the kitchen) and have them be over an hour of what I was told each time. And I wasn’t met with empathy all three of the times I called. All I got the first two times was “no sorry it’s not ready. There’s not much I can do” and that was it. So while I understand your frustration with a negative review, it was honest and a bad first experience. I would have reviewed the food (which was delicious by the way but I didn’t lead with that due to your rude response back) but I also didn’t get to eat it last night because my family had to get Wendy’s and ate without me so I just saved it for today. Responding the way you did in the end of your reply was necessary, the girl working your phones told me you had tons of angry customers and she was refunding lots of people. I get it, underestimating the evening. Having more orders than you can keep up with is a good problem but I feel like being honest about wait times and showing empathy (that you ask for) to the customers who had to wait 3 hours for their food isn’t too much to ask. I think that’s fair. And it doesn’t mean I don’t care about or want a happy and healthy 2021...
What a colossal fail of an experience here. I get that New years Eve is busy but we ALWAYS order Chinese food on New Year’s Eve and since were new to town we thought we’d give this place a try. I called at six and placed a small order for two. I was told an hour (no big deal that’s to be expected) I gave it a little extra because I know today is busy. At 7:30 I call and they say it’s not ready. So I wait until 8. Call back. They said 20 min. It’s Now 9pm with no call and my 1 hr wait time is now 3 HOURS. 3 hours waiting in the car with a 4 year old and other hungry children at home with my husband. Totally unacceptable. Like I said we Get Chinese food every year and have never had this issue. Bummed this was our...
Read moreWent to the restaurant because I told my boyfriend I want sushi. So we tried this restaurant and when we entered the atmosphere was great. When we sat down we got our menus and picked our orders and we were still waiting. I get it, there were 2 servers and 6 tables being served and it was understaffed. When we got our order we ordered everything at once so that it wouldn't be a pain to have our server back and forth. When our calamari arrived it wasn't even warm and it was soggy. The calamari was cooked good but soggy and cold. We got shumai as well which we enjoyed very much. After that we got our drink which was a Scopion for 2 and that was delicious and we finished it. It didn't have the flame but maybe it got blown when it was on its way to our table. Next, our sushi arrived, we ordered a snow mountain roll and the mango met salmon. The snow mountain was good I really liked it but we were disappointed with the other roll we got we didn't even touched it because it said seared salmon on the discription and on the picture it's not seared at all. We complained about it and the food the we complained about was taken out from the check and the I guess manager comes in and tells us that the salmon in the sushi is raw but lightly torched and we said well it's very misleading because that is raw salmon on top and we said that that didn't looked torched at all. So we payed and left and got us wondering how adamant the manager (I'm not sure if she is) that the sushi was torched but it was shiny and I know for a fact if the fish like salmon is torched or lightly torched it changes colors. We're not trying to argue to be right it's just that it's misleading and I don't eat raw salmon. A little heat on the fish and it would've been fine for me. Overall...
Read moreWe have been here multiple times for dinner because of the excellent food and service that we have come to expect. Tonight the food was AMAZING but the service on the other hand was less than meh. It started off good with us sitting at the bar and being asked for drinks but after we received our food and wanted to order another round - we were told “not supposed to serve after this time but let me check”. We were then able to order a drink out she didn’t ask my guest if he wanted one, he had to ask if he could have one. I understand we got there an hour before close but no communication was made that there was a last call or anything since this was at 9pm and the restaurant closes at 930p. After this we received our check, gave our card, and signed off while we finished our drinks. The bartender/waitress came by, grabbed the check, said nothing at all, and went about her way talking to her friend waiting at the end of the bar. THIS IS THE RUDEST THING YOU CAN DO AT A RESTAURANT WHILE PEOPLE ARE STILL SITTING! At this moment, we were even more turned off by the experience but then when we left, we said thank you, and it was silence from her…….we tipped generously and you can’t even say thank you back?
We both work retail. We both had a long holiday day. We both have great service. All we expect in the same in return. The meal was fantastic BUT the service ruined the night. I’m disappointed because I love it there but after this, I will second guess spending my money at this location after we have our all to customers to get nothing in return after a...
