Usually messes up my order. Often fails to clean icebuckets leading to things floating in my unsweet tea. Often when ordering pies that aren't apple, they daily to let me know they don't have them until after I paid and was told to pull into one of the spots to wait for my order when they try to give me apple pies instead which are cheaper and I'm allergic to them.
Most locations get annoyed when I try to order a large water.
Some locations in the morning get really mad and confused when I try to order an iced coffee with no cream and liquid sugar and light ice, informing me that I should order it by saying, "I'd like a black iced coffee with EZ ice." When I do order it like that I'm usually presented with a coffee loaded with nasty sugar water.
Then there's the times in the drive through where I request something subbed on the sandwich or my iced coffee where the person taking the order won't put the requests on the screen, I repeat the request when asked if everything is correct to have them tell me they have already got it, pull around to pay for it, get to the pickup window and then... BAM a coffee with tons of cream in it. I have it corrected, pull up to a stall to wait on a coffee, get the drink after 5 minutes, and then my food isn't correct.
Worse yet, they pay their employees like they aren't worth anything, and make make horrible metrics they have to meet based on time from order to food pickup, causing the employees to have to close the order as complete soon as it is ordered making it more likely that it gets screwed up. If they have 15 seconds of down time waiting on a grill timer to pop, they have to find something else to do to stay busy. It causes the errors in orders and overwhelms them and plays a big part in everyone's complaints that aren't based on the food itself.
McDonald's needs to be less demanding of their employees while at the same time, increase staffing instead of stretching them all thin, to allow for a dedicated person for cleaning or other necessary tasks that should have a dedicated person for. At the same time, they need to pay them more.
I love their coffee, and their sausage burritos and their scrambled eggs. I hate the way they treat the employees, as all of that frustration affects quality of service and is not the fault of the laborer when they give so much to the franchises with almost...
Read moreA Most Curious Account of Mine Visit to the Golden Arches
Verily, upon a fair eve, mine weary feet didst carry me to the house of McDonald’s, a place most famed for its victuals of swiftness and delight. Lo! The great and golden arches didst shine like the very gates of paradise, beckoning forth the hungry and the wayworn traveler alike.
Upon entry, I was met with a sight most wondrous—a throng of common folk gathered in merriment, feasting upon bread of softness and meats of curious shape. A young knave, clad in garments of scarlet and gold, didst greet me with a manner most courteous, inquiring as to mine desires.
“Pray thee, good sir,” quoth I, “bring forth unto me thy famed repast—the Royale of Cheese, with potatoes most crispéd and a draught of thine sugared elixir.” And lo! With swiftness most uncanny, mine order was conjured forth, as though by the hand of some mystical cook-fire unseen.
The Royale of Cheese, a creation most ingenious, was set afore me—a tender patty of beef, seasoned with care, clad in cheese of golden hue, and laid betwixt the halves of a bun most pillowy. Each bite was a delight, a harmony of salt and savor, though the sauce didst drip most wantonly upon mine garments. The potatoes, crispéd to perfection, crunched beneath mine teeth as though autumn leaves ’neath a booted heel. As for the elixir of cola, ’twas a draught both sweet and effervescent, though with a potency that did set mine very humors astir.
Yet, not all was free of grievance—for verily, the place was filled with clamorous noise, the laughter of babes and the cries of the impatient mingling into a cacophony most vexing. Moreover, the seating, though ample, was beset by crumbs and remnants of feasts past, left by patrons of manners most discourteous.
In sum, the house of McDonald’s doth provide sustenance both swift and satisfying, a boon to those who seek to fill their bellies without emptying their purses. Would I return? Aye, forsooth! But mayhap with kerchief in hand, that mine garments be spared from the perils of dripping sauce.

Read moreFirst time coming here and my last. Placed an order in the app this morning went to the store and noticed the employees all outside unloading the truck. I pulled up to the driver thru speaker and it was silent. Waited a few minutes as they may be busy with this food truck. Multiple employees made eye contact and gave dirty looks. Finally after a few more minutes I shouted at an employee asking if they were closed. The gentleman looked me directly in the eyes and looked away and said nothing. I proceeded to the drive thru window and saw no one inside. Pulled around to the other side of the building and asked a lady if they were closed. She immediately was rude to me as if I was the problem. I told her I placed an order through the app and she told me to cancel it. I didn’t see a cancel button on the screen I was on so I asked her how to cancel it. She once again was very rude and said she doesn’t know and doesn’t have time to help me. Horrible first experience. Hopefully management can get them all trained properly to be able...
