It makes me sad to write this review. I use to love this place. I along with some friends would get delivery where I work once or twice a week. I will not any longer. When we first started getting Winona sandwich company we had a very pleasant experience. The staff were always pretty nice, the delivery was reasonable, and aside from a few hiccups here and there the food was always good. Overall we really enjoyed it! Unfortunately in the last 3 months our orders started to dwindle off due to continuous error on orders. it got to the point where we felt it almost wasn't worth it anymore because they'd always have to come back and redeliver food and just depending on who we spoke with we're not always the nicest about having to fix it. When you place an order, you have to do it online. Totally fine by me! Should cut out most space for error. Unfortunately that seems to be the downfall here. when you're looking at the menu it says that sandwiches automatically come with certain items. if you add even one or two things to it you almost automatically will never get the toppings that it was supposed to come with to begin with. You will usually only get the toppings that you add to it. We then got to the point where we would literally click off every single item that we wanted on the sandwich seeing that was the clear disconnect. Unfortunately that stopped working as well. A couple weeks ago I tried placing an order that way, with the exact ingredients that I wanted on it even if it says it already came with it but unfortunately even though I ordered a turkey sandwich it came with no turkey and if you select turkey on that menu you have to pay extra for it. Ahhh, a turkey sandwich with no turkey. Excellent. So I call to try to speak to someone as things like this, the disconnect between the online ordering system and the people making it. I was told they would fix it, which is great but when I ask to speak to a manager as to try and give some feedback On this continuous problem. I was told their was no manager to speak with. I just let it go and they just delivered me a new sandwich. 2 weeks later I order angain and just make one small edit to a turkey sandwich and that was to just add spinach to it. Instead I get just spinach... Again. None of the other toppings it claims to come with but thankfully did get turkey this time. This happened so many times I was just done. I called again explain to them the problem and said I needed to speak to a manager because this was ridiculous. I was again told there is no manager on staff. If there is no manager on staff who watches food quality control? It is clear to me that is a problem. I asked the staff who told me there was no manager to write down my information and have a manager call me as soon as they get in. I want to help with showing the obvious disconnect of the ordering system. Even the staff I spoke with said that is a problem he has seen and they get calls about the confusion. It's 2 weeks. I have received no call. I don't want to waste my own or anyone else's time or money if orders are always messed up like this. Read moreIf I could give no stars I would. The manager at this company is a liar. My co-workers and I ordered food online and paid for it and then I went to pick up the food. When I got there they stated their systems were down and there was nothing they could do. I told them this is my lunch hour and I couldn't go back with nothing for everyone waiting. They offered to comp our food for the trouble and still made sandwiches for us. Since I didn't know what my co-workers has ordered I was ok with this and I just picked generic subs that I hoped they would eat. Everyone was happy since the food was free until today when we receive an email response back from the company stating they would only comp half of the order. This is NOT what they told me in the store and I confirmed this "3" times. They turned great customer service into a very bad taste in all of our mouths. The company I work for will NOT be ordering from this place again when they say one thing and do another. NOT RIGHT and NO GOOD AT ALL! Read moreWe placed a rather large order for a bunch of us at our workplace at 11am. An hour and fifteen minutes went by and we had yet to hear anything. We called and they claimed to never receive our order and that we should submit it a second time, and the call was ended. We went through the process of submitting it again only after attempting to call them back numerous times, with no answer only a busy signal, in an attempt to place an order over to phone to limit any risk of it happening again. At this point it is 12:50PM when we received a call from Winona Sandwich Company stating that they are having online processing issues and it happens "about once a week" and they claimed to be working on it. Finally after submitting the order online twice, then having to verify it over the phone, AND giving them the credit card number all three times, they finally got it together and guaranteed our delivery in 15 minutes... They have great food, but lousy service, so if I am every craving a sandwich for lunch, I think I will stick to Erberts & Gerberts...
