I show up to pick up my online order and I notice they have one staff member in the store. The kid is understandably struggling to keep up with both in-store orders and online orders. I’ll hand it to him, he warned me it might be a while before my order was ready, but even still, he had it ready by the promised time. This is sadly an above average Subway experience. However, I made a grave mistake. I forgot my wife’s cookie… So naturally, I did what any loving partner would do and I went back to get her cookie a little later. I show up to the store 15 minutes before closing. I avoid showing up to restaurants right before closing, but I figured cookies are a harmless thing. The problem lies not with the cookies, but with the fact that the store was already closed!! Now my wife has no cookie and I have to live with the fact that I let her down without a solution tonight. You could knock on the bread it was so hard last week when I was there last. I couldn't even believe they were selling it. The attitude from the worker was terrible. You could feel the anger coming off her. Not sure what she was so angry about as nobody else was in the store so it couldn't be because they were busy. I decided to give it another chance and mentioned the bread situation from my last visit and the two ladies working. They just looked at eachother and ignored me. I'm someone who frequents subway in Waterville at least 3 times a week when im working. I recently moved to Winslow from Augusta and this place would have gotten a lot of business from me. I'm just going to stick to Watervilles subway. Read moreThe young lady that waited on my boys and I ( do not remember her name. Wished I did.) On 3/22/22@ 615-630 pm. Went above and beyond her customer service duties. Was very prompt upon us entering to assist us with our order, overly patient with my two rambunctious boys. Extremely diligent in the making of all 3 sandwiches at once by herself. If I'd of had cash I would have snuck her ten bucks as a tip. Informed me that they have to tip share and if you tip through the computer they tax the tip. As she was the one helping us I believe there shouldn't be a tip share. Tips should be based on personal performance alone. If one is exceeding in her duties and one is not. The one who isn't should not share in the tips. But overall I do love this subway in particular. Everyone's friendly smiling...
