Such a beautiful place! I walked around with my Sister-in-law and Husband. The day is beautiful, and the view over the water is spectacular. The hardest thing for me was walking away from all the pinecones!! 🤣🤣🤣 If you ever find yourself in Winslow, ME, I recommend stopping at Fort Halifax, pack a lunch and sit by the water! Please be curious and take your trash home with you!

We went in the middle of the summer, a volunteer had just opened the old fort around 11 am. It's 2 floors of 1700's fort in Winslow. There's a stair case. It was a quick visit with my 2 kids. If your into history, and are in the Waterville area, it's worth the quick visit. I'd plan on about a half hour visit at the park. Only porta potties on site. Great picnic park.

Absolutely beautiful, unfortunately I just learned about this location today. Unfortunately due to the extreme hot and humid weather i was only able to enjoy what I was able to see in my vehicle however I definitely will write a better review and have out of car photos next time I go when the weather is better

This is a great hysterical sight and public area that needs to be taken care of better than is by the public as the caretakers of the property are great and do amazing at taking care of it but its not easy for them when the public doesn't. I have many great videos and more at this location on my YouTube @J_M_Blue_Nose also THERE ARE NO TICKETS REQUIRED AT THIS TIME BUT UNSURE OF IN THE FUTURE WITH HOW PUBLIC HAS...
