Burger King — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

We may not ever go to this Burger King again...Yesterday, my boyfriend and I decided to place a mobile order to be picked up from our local Burger King. When we got to the drive thru, the worker greeted us rudely from the beginning then proceed to tell us that mobile orders must be picked up inside. We expressed our confusion on the matter, but she told us with much attitude that she doesn’t know why Burger King changed the policy, but we have to come inside. During these times, the last thing we wanted to do was go in the store, but the mobile app had already charged us for the order. Once my boyfriend got into the store, the worker with the major attitude made eye contacted with him and just continued to stare until another guest walked in....minutes later. She wouldn’t acknowledge him until someone else came in...who does that? Shortly after, a different girl comes to the counter to help my boyfriend, she was friendly. He explains the situation and the girl from the drive thru proceeds to tell him she doesn’t see an order for us. Not once did she asks to see the order from the app or get the order number from us. Apparently she thought we were a delivery driver from DoorDash instead of a customer picking up an order through the Burger King app. Suddenly, she’s able to find our order and tells my boyfriend it’s going to be awhile before the order is ready. Next she tells him that they don’t have the mozzarella sticks that we ordered and asks my boyfriend if he wanted jalapeño peppers instead. He says no and she gets mad that he doesn’t want it. Then with her continued attitude she says, “Well I guess we can’t fulfill this order, he only wants what they ordered”. My boyfriend was behind disgusted by this point and gave them a piece of his mind before walking out. We ended up not receiving any food. Never have we ever experienced such a rude worker like that. My boyfriend risked his health to only continue to be disrespected by this woman....and for no reason! I have already contacted guest relations about this incident, however, I will keep finding different ways to make sure this does not get overlooked. I also want to make sure we get our refund for this order, although we deserve much more from what we had to experience. This worker should never be able to work at this establishment ever again. The worst part about this is the manager was present and said absolutely nothing to...

Not only did they not tell me my total at the order screen until I asked, but they also didn’t tell me that I would be waiting on my food until after i paid. There are also no waiting spots at this location for the drive thru, and they asked me to park in front of another business while I waited. So I went inside to wait for my order. I watched them throw topping - literally throw them - onto the bun, watching my topping fall off as they wrapped it. Also I am red meat intolerant and they used the burger tongs for my chicken. I have worked in fast food both at Burger King and McDonald’s and KNOW that there are separate tongs for the different meats. Also there was a manager helping to prep food who had no gloves on, and not a single employee in the cooking area was wearing a Hair Net of any kind. I am all for fast food and it’s convenience, but I’m also a fan of things being done correctly. Glad I went in and watched it happen so I don’t poison myself with the burger drippings that made it onto...

Lol, this place is a nightmare location-wise. Someone wasn't thinking that one through. The guy at the window seemed nice enough but we were told to pull up for fresh (not that good either we later found) fries. Actually it just seemed slow with some cocky-ass future ditch-diggers running the show.

I say this because we were told to pull up into a location that literally wasn't possible to pull into - yet the poor guy at the window seemed astonished we didn't want to go there. The food was mediocre at best. I give it 1 because we had to pull up into their stupid ass circle basically and just wait in the middle of an area like morons, because parking wasn't there...These kids pass a drug test, are you kidding me? Stoned I could handle fast food work even. Just bad experience overall. A friendly face and tone isn't everything, sorry.

edit: Oh and it took a long time to get the food and they barely had anyone thankfully pulling in. Otherwise we would have been forced to just...
