Absolutely horrific service. Discrimination under HIPAA law! Beyond disrespectful. I payed for a pizza via credit card and when I showed up they told me to put on a mask or leave the store. I explained that I have a medical condition and couldn't wear a mask. They screamed and yelled at me that they didn't care and the owner didn't care about my medical condition or my business. The WHOLE staff! They told me to go outside and call. When I tried to do that I realized I didn't have my phone. I went back in to explain this and the WHOLE staff started screaming at me to leave or put on a mask. I had already paid for the food and over their shrieking tried to explained to them it was paid for. Again they just screamed at me to leave the store and never come back. Again, I explained that I already paid with a credit card and they needed to give me my food. The girl at the counter snapped at me, "what's the name". I told them them. The cook came to the counter screaming at me to leave and never come back she gave me my pizza. They repeatedly told me I could take it up with the owner and he didn't care about my business. They told me they didn't care about the governors exemption or the HIPAA law and that the owner had more rights than me. Again they told me to never come back and they didn't want my business. This was all done in screams. I would say I'll never go back, but obviously they don't care. I could have been in and out of there in 10 seconds but because of their horrific behavior I front of guests this show of tyranny lasted several minutes. I wish I had had my phone to record this. But as I explained to the screaming cook, I...
Read moreUntil today I had pretty good experiences. Today my garlic knots were cold so I returned them. The cook didn't have a word to say. He just threw them in the trash and put more in the oven. He walked away so a 2nd cook checked on them after a few minutes of working on something that looked like a broken piece of equipment. He barely used any soap when he washed his hands and as if that wasn't bad enough just before he opened the oven door to check on the garlic knots he played with his red hair, twirling it around with his fingers, then he proceeded to touch the garlic knots with his bare hands to see how hot they were. I was done! I told the cashier to throw the knots in the trash. I no longer wanted them. I didn't want to argue or cause a scene so I didn't ask for a refund. I just won't return. The cashier was pleasant but the 2 cooks could use some more training on customer service, how to properly wash your hands and why you...
Read moreI'm writing this from the toilet....where I have been since about an hour after eating Burke street pizza. 40$ including a modest tip for 2 sub's and one pizza(one topping...with coupon).I was told there would be an hour and a half wait, and I thought that was a good sign...lots of people must like this pizza...but no. The crust was dry and cardboard like, you couldn't fold or bend it,the cheese was ...well there has hardly any cheese on it...or sauce. It sat in my stomach like a brick of death. Then there was the meatball sub, the balls were dry,and did not go all the way across the bun .The sauce acidy .They wrapped it in a paper plate which got mushy and stuck to the sub. (In fairness,my wife's philly cheese steak was OK,but it wasn't her favorite.)so now I sit...until I must kneel ,on and in front of my toiled. Sick and miserable, worst date night ever! I will never order...
