Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

Edit 8/18/17: We gave them another chance since we figured the operator has had a chance to get things running more smoothly. WOW! What a difference in two months time. Everything was fresh, correct and delicious! I will now be recommending this location to friends again. If you had a bad experience here during the change in management, I suggest you try it again.

I don't know if it is related to the recent change in Owner/Operator, but the quality at this location has gone from amazing to a joke, seemingly overnight. I've had your typical "dealing with teenagers working fast food" issues here before, but the food has always been spot on before now.

Tonight, on the other hand, we ordered two Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches that were bone dry all the way through and about half the size of the chicken that belongs on the sandwich. It seems like they are using the breakfast sandwich chicken on the full size sandwich to save money (or due to incompetence) and are still cooking them for the time allotted for a full size piece, resulting in a very dry and rubbery piece of "meat".

So now I'm out the cash for dinner and I need to go get something...

We were finally able to dine inside after the renovations and complete make over of this location. The drive thru is always quick and efficient. We wanted to see what the inside looked like. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The counter/ordering area is smaller but as usual they are very quick at greeting you and taking your order. The dining area is smaller even though they took out the children’s play area. I imagine that they needed more room for the drive through since that’s where they are the busiest. The dining area is warm and homey. As expected our dining experience was great. After placing our order food was brought to our table in a timely fashion. They constantly check to see if you need anything and refill your drinks. Food is always great. We had the breakfast bowl with sausage and a side of hash browns. I would have like some more egg in it as it seemed very sparse. We were not...

The Chick-fil-A Experience ( Drive-thru Experience). On this day, I wanted a salad and knew Chick-fil-A don't play when it comes to delivering fast, good service. So, I went through their drive-through and placed my order in no time.

I ordered their Spicy Southwest Salad without chicken that comes with mixed greens, grape tomatoes, a blend of Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses, roasted corn, black beans, poblano chilies, and red bell peppers. It also comes with seasoned tortilla strips and chili lime pepitas. I also asked for their balsamic salad dressing.

Once home, I was ready to eat. I enjoyed my salad. There is no other experience like the Chick-fil-A experience compared to other fast-food eateries. You know there is a major issue when you have to wait, and you always get a "my pleasure" when saying thank you. That's an establishment that will continue to get my business as long as they continue to provide good...
