The KFC Experience (Drive-thru Edition). Colonel Sanders would be so disappointed. So on this day, I went for a quick lunch stop at the nearest KFC. I ordered their three chicken tender fill-up meal with fries. The three-tender meal also comes with a prewrapped chocolate chip cookie; however, I preferred the in-house chocolate chip cookies versus what KFC is now serving.
Once pulling up to the window and paying, the staff member told me they were out of fries and instructed me to pull ahead to wait. Patience is a virtue, but it was only around 11:30 am, and I saw no sign of a lunch rush when I arrived. Once back at my destination and about to eat, I enjoyed two out of the three tenders. Unfortunately, one tender was browner and tougher to bite into than the other two. Someone placed that chicken tender underneath the other two. It was apparent that tender cooked in another batch of chicken earlier in the day.
So would I return to this KFC? I am not a fan of this location and will not return for several reasons. There is loitering in the parking lot and the parking lots of nearby establishments, customer service is not the best, and the food quality is not up to par. Hence, the slogan "Finger Lickin' Good" or "Colonel Quality, Guaranteed" is gone from this...
Read moreSooooo unprofessional! They were telling customers that they were doing a shift change so they ask can I come in... I tell them I can't because it was raining and I had on bedroom shoes (not expecting to get out the car) and the lady tells me "I don't care what you do but I need you off my timer!" I've been a manager before and no matter what establishment you never talk to the customers... the ones who chose to spend their hard earned money like that! So after almost getting into it with the person on the intercom because they were rude and it wasn't my fault that their drive thru was down. I ask for bags to put on my feet so I can come in... they ignore me for about 6 minutes... I then took my cell and called the store to ask what the problem was... the man tells me to come around to get bags to put on my feet... I do all that and get in there and the lady tells me they don't have any potpies... the only thing I eat from there... no worries... it was a sign for me to just leave your entire establishment alone... I spend money with your store everyday but Liberty St in Winston Salem ruined it for all KFCs... we will cater somewhere else...
Read moreWell I am officially done with this location because I applied for a job there and the manager was totally rude towards me... Asking how did I apply for the job and telling me she doesn't interview in her lunch hours ever she doesn't know why they schedule interviews at that time. She also included that she doesn't have positions available because she just hired two people the day previously. I'm thinking 🤔 to myself, if you hired two people the day before then you could have taken the time to call or put in a cancellation for the remaining applicants that are scheduled after knowing you had no positions available for anyone else who scheduled interviews next. She said I should try the other locations instead of where I was at that time. She apologize for the inconvenience it caused me. But, still it could have been prevented if she did here Job right the first time. And I wouldn't have wasted my time nor my money from traveling there also taking from work.
