Do not come here. This place is hot trash. The birria tacos had way too much clove and it overpowered the whole taco. The sauce was watery and flavorless. I tried an enchilada, a taco, and a chalupa and didn’t finish any of them. The food is simply not good. We returned the birria to the kitchen and the waitress told us we would not be charged, only to charge us $5 for the side of rice and beans that she left at the table. Additionally, I asked for some hot sauce and was given a bowl full of chemical tasting ridiculously spicy sauce. I asked for a bottle of regular hot sauce instead and she acted confused and then gave me the bottle you see in the photo saying she didn’t know if they had more. The mediocre food would have been forgiven if not for the rude waitress and janky bill. Honestly a ridiculous experience all around. My favorite part of the meal was walking out of the door and writing this review to hopefully save someone from having the same experience as me.

This is coming from a chef, so I might be a little biased but I definitely know what I’m talking about. I also work at a bar/restaurant and for a food truck. Service was perfectly fine. Spicy marg was definitely spicy but I couldn’t taste the tequila. The queso was the best thing we had by far. The chips were stale. The salsa was pretty decent. The salsa verde had zero flavor and resembled applesauce in texture and flavor. I would never recommend this ever. We ordered a combination #21, supposed to come with a chalupa, we got a tostada. The quesabirria tacos didn’t have any cheese in them, and therefore became soggy and were falling apart. The rice and beans were essentially flavorless. Everything, except the queso, needed salt. Sad cinco de mayo lol. Also, the fluorescent lighting is horrendously bright and overbearing.

This is one of the best Mexican spots I've been to since moving here from NY. It's new so they are still working out a few kinks (like the liquor license to serve adult beverages) but it was fantastic. The customer service was great. Everyone has a great attitude and are super courteous. The food portions were AMAZING! Largest portions I've encountered so far. Excellent value. The food was prepared quickly and was cooked correctly. It was not greasy and cheese sauce wasn't on every dish like most places I've been to here lol We cant wait to go back once they begin to serve alcohol in a couple of weeks! Highly recommend this place.

Ordered the Quesadilla Lujo. Big portions very tasty. It was stuffed with cheese, beans, and thick pieces of grilled chicken breast. The order included guacamole and sour cream with lettuce. Guacamole was very delicious.

I ordered the black bean soup it was a 2 out of 10. The soup was very watery and bland. I gave it a two because it was loaded with beans. I will make something out of the beans and season.

Thinking that the churros I ordered were going to make up for the soup … boy was I wrong. How do you mess up churros. Let’s say if you have dentures this would be a fail. If you have your teeth still, you might have to get some dentures after biting into this more like bark rolled in cinnamon sugar and chocolate drizzle. The taste was there that’s all.

In conclusion, I enjoyed the quesadillas. I will definitely order those again but I would stay away from the soup and churros. Maybe that was a bad batch of soup and churros. Maybe that’s the type of quality you get when I ordering...
