Patronized here this evening for dinner for my husband. Waited about 20 to 30 minutes after ordering to receive our food. Got the food home to discover the chicken fajitas we had received were undercooked. The veggies and chicken appeared as if they had been tossed in a pan, flipped once and then boxed. We contacted the restaurant to see about a correction for this matter. We were advised that we would have to bring the food back up to the restaurant. We advised the receptionist (who also happen to be the assistant manager) that this was a huge inconvenience. The assistant manager then persisted to be rude and dismissive. As a result, we decided to return to the restaurant and just receive a refund. When we arrived at the resteraunt my husband advised the same manager that we'd like a refund. The managers behavior was TOTALLY rude and unprofessional from the beginning. I went as far as to explain to her that I had worked in the food service industry before and could understand the difficulties that businesses face. I also explained that I even understood that people actually do attempt to take advantage of resteraunts in efforts to obtain free food. This manager proceeded to dismiss what I was saying and made my husband and I feel as if we were beneath her. I advised her that her lack of respect, inability to even make eye contact, and disrespect of patrons was extremely unprofessional. She commenced to argue with me. At ab0oint in the conversation i even asked if there was a manager above her. The staff and assistant manager advised me that no other manager was available. So I asked another staff member if they could provide me with the name of the l owner and they proceeded to tell me they didnt know. My husband was refunded.
Might I add, as you can see from the review below; I have frequented here for many, many, YEARS. This location and its other. I have never been treated in this manner or had food issues with this restaurant prior to today. This manager totally put a stain on this restaurant's reputation and I will not be frequenting this location again as a result. She definitely need some cultural sensitivity training and professional development classes in order to continue in leadership.

Read moreVisited your establishment for drinks and dinner on 1-13-17. Had heard so many wonderful things about this Mexican restaurant. The wait was a little longer than excepted to get a table. But the place was very busy. Thinking this was a good thing? We were seated at the bar because all the dining room tables were taken, ordered a round of drinks as we read over the menu. We placed our order and was eagerly awaiting our food. The Woman behind the bar was getting the drinks out as fast as humanly possible I thought and several of my dinner mates were marveling at what a smooth job she was doing by herself. As we watched her do her job so well, she was then confronted by what I imagine must have been the manager? He was very young and somewhat short in stature. You could tell this poor girl was pushed to the max with her drink orders! He began by berating her right in front of everyone... VERY unprofessional!!!! I couldn't help but feel somewhat sorry for her as did all of my guest. Then another Manager I'm assuming ? Joined in as they finally took this fiasco to the back where it belonged in the first place! At any rate we didn't see her again to be able to tell her what a wonderful job she was doing given the circumstances! The other manger made his way to our table later to ask if "All was ok" Said his name was Carlos. It was all I could do to bite my tounge to keep from lambasting this arrogant manager that had just belittled his employee right in front of everyone at the bar! We will never darken the door again of Mi Pueblos. Management needs to have some...
Read moreFood is fine, but service staff and mgt should be embarrassed! The last 2 times I have eaten there, within the last month, we had the same server who did not understand English very well - I understand most of the staff are Hispanic and that is fine, but the servers should be fluent in English. The most recent time, we went for the $5.99 medium margarita special on a Wednesday; when the bill came, we were charged for jumbo margaritas, told by the server and the mgr that the menu prices "had changed", still charged for jumbo margs despite the special, and then given/charged for a large cheese dip for which we were not asked to specify the size. When we spoke to the mgr, he didn't understand us very well either. He said that frozen and on-the-rocks are different prices b/c the frozen is premixed and stronger (yet, every other Mexican restaurant I have ever been to charges the same price for both), so we explained that it would be helpful to advise customers that the frozen margs are NOT included in that special when ordering, even though it is not stated anywhere as an exclusion. The mgr also claimed the server told him we ordered a large cheese dip, which we did not, so we let him know that we were not asked the size of our cheese dip and the assumption should never be a large for 2 people. Again, the food is perfectly fine, the service just needs to catch up - but we still will not...
