We first went to the dennys on mollison and when we went in the place was busy. So we sat at the counter. To the right of me at the other counter was an employee either on his break or off the clock. There were 2 employees behind the counter one who looked like she was probably a manager. We sat there for a while before I decided to ask for the menus. Neither the server or the manger helping acknowledged us. They didn't look at us. And I kept thinking why doesn't this employee who is finished with his meal help them out? He is just sitting there with out a care in the world. Where is the team work? I understand when it is busy like that but the right and professional thing to do is to at least acknowledge the customer. It takes 2 seconds to greet them and hand them menus. Most people are understanding and will wait patiently. But if you don't acknowledge or even look at them and there can be no way that you don't know that they are right in front of you is so unprofessional and not a good way to treat your guests. I have been in the restaurant business for many years and I know what it is like to be that busy but I have never seen such a lack of team work and a lack of professionalism especially when it's a manager. This may be a independently owned store but it still adheres to corporate guidelines and represents and is a reflection of what Denny's is and stands for. We ended up walking out and no one even noticed or cared and we were right in front of them the whole time. I never really liked that particular Denny's anyway because it seems to employ people who lack the professional attitude that Denny's stands for and what people are accustomed to and expect when patronizing a...

Read moreI have never been more disappointed with Denny's. We are very frequent diners with Denny's and have been since this Denny's opened. Tonight we ordered a Double cheeseburger on grilled sourdough with fries, Yummy! My wife had sirloin steak well done, mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini, her usual go to. Normally the steak is cooked to perfection, well done, and has very little, or no fat/grizzle. Well tonight, the steak was grizzled all the through the center and up one side of the steak. Unfortunately, our waitress was busy and didn't find the time to ask how are meals were until we were finished and I showed her the, in my opinion, inedible steak and told her it was under cooked and grizzled throughout the steak. Her response was, "Well you cannot see the fat before you cook the steak". OMG! She then asked if we want a box for the grizzle steak. I said I wanted a refund, don't want to pay for it. so she took it away and came back and came back saying she could give us a refund since my wife ate the potatoes and zucchini. We got to the register and with my discount we were billed 28 and some change for a cheeseburger, fries, mashed potatoes and fried zucchini. I am extremely disappointed in a restaurant that is usually fair...
