I just left this location and I'm honestly not sure why people even work in customer service anymore and why they even have businesses that require customer engagement when it's not good. My plan was to get a cappuccino and sit and enjoy some breakfast. The service was quick no smile nor good morning nothing. That's fine...no tip then either, that's how that works. In any event. I received my cappuccino in a to go cup with a lid on it and my breakfast sandwich in a bag eith the cheese all melted in the bag. I went to the cashier and asked her if they service coffee in mugs anymore as I saw a huge stack and she said if people ask for it. So, naturally I left and started typing away. I'm in my car enjoying my coffee and breakfast instead. What exactly is the point of decorating a brick and mortar business if you're not going to encourage people to stay? Customer service these days is garbage and now it has trickled into this place as well. The correct thing would be for the cashier to ask me if it is to go, not for me to request a mug. The correct thing is for people who work at these places to have some sort of a personality. I love seeing the beauty of a cappuccino in a mug, if I wanted it covered up I never would have gone inside, I would have used the drive through. I wasn't in a hurry at all. Please do not go to this location. Customer service is non existent and they encourage you to leave anyway as evidenced by their eagerness to hand out coffee in to go cups and breakfast in bags. Do not tip as clearly it is not deserved. Before anyone says oh how harsh of you not to tip, I was a server and I actually tip very well. I also know better than to tip someone for lack of service. I'd say do better but I have a feeling my review will just either be ignored or someone will have some sort of an excuse and they'll say, just go elsewhere...
Read moreGreat location and beautiful, spacious interior with plenty of seating—much more than the Orange Ave location. Coffee tastes good and is nicely presented, though pricey (you’re paying for the atmosphere).
Customer service is lacking. I ordered a coffee and sandwich, sat down and waited 15 minutes before checking the status of my order. Turns out they hadn’t started making it. 😭 And by making it, I mean warming up a frozen biscuit sandwich, which was super small and not worth $5.
For being so big, this place still manages to feel crowded and chaotic because the sound bounces off all the hard surfaces. That’s typical for a coffee shop, but I’d definitely bring headphones if you need to focus. The restroom was clean but lacking TP on the dispenser (an extra roll was nearby).
Minor quibbles: The register added an automatic tip even after I deselected it. And there are no power outlets near the armchair seating—maybe they don’t want people staying and working for hours.
I’ll try it again because it’s a change of pace from Starbucks and the ice cream is a nice option. But it fell a bit short of...
Read moreMy first time here I decided to go inside to order. There was no line but yet it took 5 mins for someone to even acknowledge my presence and got little assistance with more info on the menu items.
I decided to go back but through the drive through and it took only seconds to order and no cars in front of me. When I pulled around to the window, I waited 5 or more mins for someone to open the window to take my payment. When they finally opened the window they asked what I ordered again! Then I waited some more because apparently they never even started making my order. Only for them to hand me only one item when I ordered multiple items. 😞
Sad to say because it’s in walking distance from my home but I tired a few more times, (all drive thru) and the same exact experience with different workers. So apparently this a trend for them. Idk what the point of ordering, then getting to the window to wait even longer for someone to acknowledge my presence only to ask me what I ordered again…. Just go to Starbucks or Dunkin. This location needs a lesson in...
