From the very first bite to the last sip of wine, this Italian restaurant completely exceeded every expectation. The entire experience felt like a warm, elegant embrace of authentic Italian hospitality, from the service to the flavors that danced across each plate.
We started with the lobster arancini, and they were pure perfection — golden brown on the outside, with a delicate crunch that gave way to creamy risotto filled with tender chunks of lobster. The flavor was rich yet balanced, enhanced by a light drizzle of lemon aioli that brought everything together beautifully. It’s one of those appetizers you instantly know you’ll order again on your next visit.
For the main course, the chicken parmigiana was absolutely outstanding. The chicken was tender and juicy, coated in crisp breadcrumbs and topped with a velvety tomato sauce and melted mozzarella. It had just the right amount of seasoning and was perfectly portioned. Each bite was comforting, flavorful, and full of that classic Italian soul that makes you smile with every forkful.
Then came the cioppino, which was nothing short of extraordinary. The broth was deep, aromatic, and packed with fresh seafood — mussels, shrimp, scallops, and tender fish — all cooked to perfection. It was a dish that showcased both the kitchen’s skill and its heart, with layers of flavor that reminded me of coastal Italy.
Beyond the food, the ambiance made the experience even more special. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, always ready with a smile or a recommendation. The cozy lighting, soft music, and overall welcoming atmosphere made the meal feel both relaxed...
Read moreIf I could give a zero for service I would. We went in with a family of 4 on a Saturday early evening. Only about half the restaurant was seated. The host sat us behind the kitchen door, right on top of another party’s table. I literally had to touch the person behind me to squeeze in the space. The floor by the table was sticky and it smelled like vomit. My husband got up and politely asked if we could be moved another table as many were open with ample space around them. They declined to move us and instead came over and grabbed the back my teenage son’s chair and yanked it backwards dragging his 2 feet, jerking my son forward and then pulled the table out a couple of inches. When we attempted to address the behavior, as it was aggressive and embarrassing for my son, we were essentially kicked out. It’s unfortunate, as we had heard great things, but will not compromise for being treated with respect over a small ask. Disappointed!
Update: Thanks for the response. This is not the back door. You can choose to defend yourself or learn from the situation. For clarity, we did call in advance and I don’t feel the need to further defend myself against the lack of hospitality. What I do know is a male employee did approach our table and yank/aggressively pull my son’s chair. When we asked if he was okay, he said no! He felt threatened and confused as to why someone working at the restaurant would treat him that way - and he matters most! That’s why the...
Read moreWe absolutely loved this place! We are already planning our next trip back, and we live on the Cape! We loved everything…the vibe, the service, the food and yes, the drinks! Everyone was super friendly, and we even recognized a few, familiar faces from the crew at Antique Table. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed, but it never felt too loud. We could easily hear each other, and didn’t feel like we had to yell back and forth. Our server, Nick, was amazing and very attentive. We felt like we were his only table in a packed restaurant. The drinks were so creative, and the flavors all complimented each other perfectly! We tried a couple different ones because we couldn't decide. The “agave e limone” was our favorite. For food, we started with the Malanzana torre (crispy eggplant dish). This was, by far, the best eggplant dish we’ve ever had! It was perfectly crispy and paired with red sauce and fresh ricotta! Absolutely delicious! From there, we had the Caesar salad, cacio E Pepe and chicken parmesan. We loved everything, but the cacio e pepe was our 2nd favorite behind the eggplant appetizer. The fresh, homemade linguine was cooked perfectly and the cheesy, peppery sauce was incredible. We’ve had cacio e pepe in Italy and this was better! The sauce in this dish is not an easy one to make, and they executed it perfectly. We definitely recommend checking this place out!...
