Taco John's — Restaurant in Wittenberg

I have been a life long Taco Johns customer and I can honestly say that my experience today at the drive thru in Wellington WI was one of the best. The staff was friendly and spirited, showing their true potato ole passion from the first ‘hello how may I help you’ to the last ‘have a nice day‘. I went with my usual six pack and a pound and before I could even ask, the nice young lady suggested how I wanted them anticipating my need to do a 4/2 split hard to soft. Knowing that I was in experienced hands I told her to hold the sauce on two of the starches and she didn’t even hesitate before asking if I wanted hot cheese on the side of the ole tubs. We wrapped up our Tex-mex two step, and at the window I was greeted with Salsalito smiles from the staff, including an appearance from the enthusiastic manager who made sure my stop was a memorable one. Sombreros off to these fine ladies and their churro chief for making Wellington take the top spot in my book of Juan, displacing previous favorites at Black River Falls, Osseo, and Little Falls MN. Keep up the great customer service, and see you again soon as the summer of six pack rolls...

I will start by saying the food was hot and the cashier was very nice. We arrived to this location about 8:05ish. We walked in as another man was waiting for his order after a family and another guy had just left as we were getting out of our cars. They were cleaned the lobby. We hadnt even started to order yet and the girl in the back told the cashier that it needed to be take out only. Although unless we had beard it we would have never known as the cashier didnt tell us that. While ordering the lasy that was cleaning the lobby came over to where she had a bucket of water and started complaining that the last people that were in their messed up her clean table. We got our food and left which is unfortunate because we were going to sit and eat our food quick. We had just gotten in our car and another man that had walked in after us and ordered got his food right after us, walked out and they shut off their lights at 8:11. Went today, at 2:32PM (Sale # 14270338) for late lunch. Was not impressed that the bill totaled $29.34 for two people. A coupon that we had was not able to be applied because it wasn’t printed/on paper, however, online states “ Show any of these coupons at your next Taco John’s visit to save!“ and even the fine print does not state the online codes/pictures need to be printed. Along with the fact that we didn’t receive all of our items that we had paid for...what’s the point of charging someone for sauces/sides if none of them make it in the bag? Again even more irritating with total bill amount for the lack of items we received in our bag. The Boss Burrito, which was horrible, honestly threw it away after two bites, learned it doesn’t have a combo option, and know you will be charged accordingly.
