Bill & Bob's Roast Beef — Restaurant in Woburn

Was my first time at Bill And Bobs Roast Beef, The place originally caught my eye due to there line being almost wrapped around the drive thru which gave me some type of insight there food is worth it because it can’t be long for nothing ! I was encountered with a highly disrespectful and unprofessional welcome within the drive thru . My order wasn’t rung in correctly , the man at the speaker had a nasty attitude and was frustrated with me for asking questions about there food . after pulling up i waited around 15 min at the window prior to waiting in the drive thru to order .the same older man with long hair treats me with blatant disrespect and then stuffs all of our food in one bag once checking the bag , things are pouring out , and seemed to be bagged with little to no care . i was missing small items such a pizza rolls and didn’t get a few essentials for the meal i asked for such as sides of sauce i requested in the speaker and was told to remind them at the window and he almost seemed to be ignoring my service when i attempted to wave down the window/tap . luckily the teenagers there were kind enough to help figure everything out , wonderful attitudes and got everything correctly and made my experience tolerable even though i can tell they was going through hell back...

Generally decent. Prices were a bit high but expected for a roast beef joint serving up fresh cuts. Ordered 3 sandwiches (one as a combo) a couple drinks and a side order of Mac and Cheese bites. Overall, the sandwiches were decent, albeit a bit dry. A little more juice to the meat (and having it a bit more rare) would’ve been great. If it’s your taste, get a bit of barbecue, mayo, or mustard slapped on there to keep things moist. Everything was made correctly though, which was great and often hard to find in any sort of quick bite joint these days. The Mac and cheese bites were a bit expensive for the size of the bite and the portion size. Could use some improvement there. The French fries however, were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Shoestring cut, and fried to perfection. Clean oil taste and a bit of a beefy/savory flavor and they were delicious.

Aside from the medium well and somewhat dry roast beef, this place seems solid. I would definitely give Bill & Bob’s another go if I’m in...

Man, just really needs to be cleaned for me to have any desire to eat here again. Someone has to be paying the board of health. It's too obviously unclean. No one is wearing gloves handling food that people will put in their mouths. It's great to keep with tradition, but you can do it sanitarily. I can't find a reason that this could be considered acceptable to anyone's standards, especially this day and age. Greasy Spoon should be a term of the past and never used literally.

Update 5 months later, I reluctantly accompany a friend who was craving this place. God. They updated their menu board in the drive through but still have the most pathetic cashier window. It's still really unkept inside and the lack of gloves and unsanitary condition of the production area is...
