I understand this is a new establishment but it was the worst diner experience I have ever had in my life. Not even being dramatic I'm serious. Don't let the illusion of it being new and "clean" fool you. I came with a group of people. There were multiple issues. I can't even begin. I ordered fritter sticks. Basically french toast sticks. What came out where 7 huge pieces of extremely burnt fried bread. Almost like someone dropped pizza crust in a deep fryer and forgot about it. On top of it they didn't even come out with the dipping sauce that it includes on the menu. Which dosent even matter because nothing could cover up how destroyed and burned the fritters were. It was shocking honestly. Didn't know you could mess up french toast sticks that badly. Worse then my microwave. I also ordered Jersey fries. 7 dollar fries with cheese and gravy. The waitress ended up getting sent out with a small order of plain french fries. She said the cook staff said they could not make Jersey fries. Not that they didn't have cheese or gravy. Just that they couldn't put cheese and gravy on the fries ? What ? So confusing you have cheese and gravy but you do not have the capability to put them on the fries.. they didn't make me pay for this obviously because I didn't eat it. My girlfriend got a side of sausage for 6 dollars.. which is wild just all...
Read moreAwesome place i love their breakfast menu. My only big complaint is how small the portions are... i do not understand all the reviews saying they are big?!? Ive ordered 2 portions of the eggs with french toast, bacon, and a side of chocolate chip pancakes and it still didnt get me full!!! Maybe like 1 egg and 2 small pieces of french toast and the smallest portion of pancakes ever with 2 small pieces of bacon. Extremely over priced for the portions. Also one time i went there all they had was room temp orange juice which was really gross... That being said overall it is absolutely delicious!! Love the food i come here with my girlfriend. Just need to order a LOT. Probably because theres a lot of really old people that come here. Would still defenitly recommend easily $40-50 for 2 people if you want to get full off their breakfast menu. If they did some major price revising/ portion editing i would easily give...
Read moreWe decided to try Woodbury Diner, after a frustrating experience at a popular Southbury diner, and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by a familiar face—the former owner of Leo’s—who made us feel right at home. We were seated immediately and the service was attentive and friendly, which really turned our day around.
The breakfast menu had plenty of delicious options, and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a family meal. Overall, our experience was a breath of fresh air, and I can see why this diner has such a loyal following. We’ll definitely be back to make this our new breakfast spot!...
