I am by no means a connoisseur. And I don't know if I have a refined palate. So of course, take my review, and others, with a grain of salt. I didn't want to give it three starts because that doesn't quite feel right but unsure how I feel with four stars. Regardless, I am going with four stars. I was in Woodland to run an errand and decided to get some breakfast before returning to Sacramento. I parked on Main St. and just walked. Happened upon Savory Cafe and decided to try. I was seated promptly and ask my beverage of choice. Coffee. Coffee was good and the gentleman checked on me during my meal and offered a refill. Anyway, on to my meal. There were quite a few options and was unsure what direction I wanted to take. My server was nice enough but seemed hurried. I asked her opinion of breakfast meals and her favorite is the Toast. From their menu, Toast is described as two thick sliced ciabatta toast, peppered ricotta, avocado, arugula, and (served on the side) soft scrambled eggs. I was hesitant because it honestly sounded like super expensive avocado toast, but I decided to try. The plating was beautiful. Everything was well prepared and fresh. It just wasn't my jam. I felt satiated after eating it and not so full that I needed a nap (which is my norm after a hearty breakfast), but just not quite satisfied. Again, really good coffee and fresh and well prepared but not thrilled. Maybe I chose the wrong meal and should have gone with something I think I would have enjoyed. I don't know. I generally do not have mixed feelings about a restaurant but I do in this case. I may consider giving it one more try if in the area.

I went there for brunch & asked for a mimosa & they didn’t have champagne l!!! which restaurant that offers mimosas runs out of champagne!? Nugget Market is just down the street, I ordered 2 eggs over hard and they were still a bit undone, the country potatoes were very dry & they ran out of white toast so I had to get wheat! I then ordered a Bloody Mary that was basically tomato juice with no fixings just a piece of bacon!! And customer service bad, I had to wave to our waitress who did not check on us and they were not busy! Next time I’ll drive the extra 25 miles & go to Putah Creek cafe and enjoy my brunch!

Cute comfortable breakfast/lunch vibe with window seating. Different concept on my expectations of an omelette. Instead of melting everything in with the eggs, they make you a egg taco. The farmers omelette was difficult to eat with all the different foods, I ended up making it a open faced torta instead. The server was pleasant, yet failed to follow up and ask how the food was, failed to ask me if I needed anything else, and brought the check before I was halfway done with my food. I would have ordered another drink bringing in more revenue and bigger tip. Not mad, just an FYI there is room for improvement!

Cute little place. Our waitress treated us like homeless people because we (my sister and I) decided to share a sandwich (french did w/fried onion & bell peppers) DELICIOUS!! We asked for a second cup of au jus to which she snobbily replied " well, theres gonna be an extra charge for that". We're like "okay" it was just awkward. Seemed like she expected us to break a pile of change to pay the bill or something. At any rate, we had a good lunch and then stolled first street to admire the historic homes and it was a lovely day. I have one more small complaint, she hands us each a menu containing a breakfast menu on one page and a lunch menu on the other. Then when she came back to get our order she informs us that only the lunch menu is available. Personally, I think they should cut those two pages apart and only give customers the page containing the choices available at that time. (Breakfast or lunch)...

11/10/17 Today I called in a pickup order for a Breakfast Burrito with a 50/50 split of Bacon and Sausage.

I was told 10 minutes wait before the burrito would be ready. Walked from my work office to the restaurant, walked into the door and the food was ready for me :D

As I walked back to my office I could smell the bacon, sausage and egg goodness, so when I bit into the burrito I was totally in heaven. By far best burrito on Main street!

Totally going back next week to try other items on the breakfast/lunch menus...

I did notice a ton of empty seats in the restaurant and it looked like people were waiting awhile to be served...

Server had the cash on person instead of in a till (kind...
