Taqueria Guadalajara — Restaurant in Woodland

I just want to say that the customer service here is such a disappointment. My brother had ordered a to go order of pozole because he was feeling sick and was really looking forward to the pozole at this restaurant. He was not able to enjoy any of it because the lid on the pozole container had a crack and spilled all over around his leg area while at work . He ended up getting burned by the broth. They were given a call to get a refund as they put a broken lid on the container. When he called they basically told him come back for another one and that they couldn't give him a refund because they would be losing money. He stated he didn't want another one at this point and they hung up on him. I called them and the lady who picked up basically made it seem like it was his fault and they aren't responsible for something that happened while he wasn't at the restaurant. The way they went about it was really upsetting and just very unprofessional. I've never been to an establishment where the customer was blamed for something that they didn't cause. They did not want to take full responsibility. I requested for the manager NOEl to call me back. This happened on Friday 12/08/23 and have yet to receive a call from him. The lady I spoke to originally said her name was Victoria but when I called a second time her coworker informed me that a Victoria did not work there and later was informed her name was actually Violet. To anyone who goes here please be warned that they don't seem to care about their customers who are the ones bringing...

Discovered this amazing place over 17yrs ago with my father in law when he lived in Woodland. Up until he passed back in 2002 this was our Sunday morning menudo tradition. The menudo is the best I've ever had north of the border. I remember 3 sizes when I first started coming but I believe it is just one large size now. The flavors are amazing. My wife has fallen in love with their chorizo and coffee. The chorizo is meaty like steak(no cheap greasy chorizo here). I still come at least 1-2 times a month for my menudo fix. They also have a great salsa bar. About 5-6yrs ago they started adding a habanero salsa that is out of this world. The Pico de Gallo is also legit. I love the service as lady at counter knows my order before I even speak.lol. This place also has great pazole, tacos, and the super burrito OMG!!! Try this place once and you'll be hooked for...

I placed an order for pick up online. It was for one order of PORK posole. When I arrived the pick up was great. Drove home and open the bag and unpacked everything. But I was given CHICKEN and pork. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal to probably 99% of people. But I don't like chicken, which is why I specifically ordered pork. But regardless of that, this should not even have happened. But, I understand mistakes take place, so I emailed the restaurant with the email address given to me from the order confirmation, not the email that the confirmation was sent from, but from the email address in the signature at the bottom of the email. I have yet to have a response over 24 hours later. So I guess they don't care about fixing their customers concerns. Good job Taqueria...
