La Michoacana Plus Woodland,CA — Restaurant in Woodland

I’ve been going to the South Sacramento location and everything was delicious! I came here multiple times since they’ve opened and previous times have been satisfied. Tonight was definitely not, right when we came in I ordered “tosti-esquite con hot Cheetos en polvo” which is Tostitos with corn, cheese and hot Cheetos dust”. I up getting hot Cheetos with corn and cheese, not what I asked for but too late to come back. I also ordered mini pancakes but they “didn’t have any already made” which was no issue but the last time we came the younger teens said it’ll take a while because they make it fresh. We came in 40 mins before closing too and only a group of two behind me as well. We also ordered a pina colada, which I thought would be blended also didn’t have whipped cream or the cherry and was just an agua fresca with no ice. An older lady with a bun helped us and I honestly felt like she was lazy, the teens we always see are better workers and actually serve...

These stores have good items, that is true, but this new one in particular (Woodland) is being managed differently. It seems as if the staff is being told to gossip “comadrear” or server slow to make it seem as if it is always busy. Those lines can move faster with a simple strategy. Will not mention it because they don’t pay me. But the long lines are ridiculous. LOS GERENTES necesitan de ponerse las pilas si esas lineas NO son planeadas. Lo hacen ver como si los productos sobrevalorados fueran de otro mundo. Uno que otro pasa pero los empleados le quitan el sabor a ésta locación. !Ojalá...

1/6/25 We’ve visited this location three times now, hoping to catch it open, but each time it’s been completely closed. The lights are off, and there’s a sign on the door mentioning something about the business, but it’s unclear what’s going on. Despite these repeated visits, the business continues to respond to reviews claiming they’re open, which clearly isn’t the case. It’s frustrating and confusing to see such a lack of clarity. At this point, we’re left wondering if they’ve permanently closed or if there’s some issue they’re not addressing. Definitely not the customer experience...
