Jasmine Garden — Restaurant in Woodmoor

If I could give zero stars, I would.

Ordered their "Chef Special - Beef Pan Fried Noodle" and in no way is that Beef as the owners claim. I had my boyfriend and son try it and they both said it tasted and looked like pork. I am personally allergic to pork which was the bigger concern.

After calling the restaurant very politely and explaining the issue, the owner told me I'd have to bring the whole dish back in order to receive a refund so they could inspect it. To be clear, I wasn't requesting a refund on anything else in our order, only this one dish.

Not only was the rest of the food rated to a low-medium at best but what you would expect from a quick take-out Chinese, my biggest issue was the horrible customer service to have to demand a person to then physically drive a dish back so they can inspect it before they would issue a refund?! For one dish, that's definitely not worth the time or money.

I'm not a person to leave reviews on a place, but this situation felt worth sharing to others...

We have been there several times, and it has been fine. Like fine as in not Google review worthy, but would go back for the price, convenience, and taste of food. Today will sadly be the last day I go there. The scale has tipped in the wrong direction. Not friendly service from the start and when I asked whether they had Coke or Pepsi and she said Pepsi, I said I will stick with water. The next thing I know I had a Pepsi in front of me. When I asked to get an iced tea, it was like I was bothering her. But honestly, the worst part was two employees coughing non-stop and at one point an employee went into the bathroom and made a horrible hacking sound, like she was throwing up. I looked over and at one point and she was wiping her nose with her finger and then came over to fill my water which I denied. Just overall, I question the health and sanitation and the food isn't so great that I would miss it. Other choices, so just moving on. Based on the service today, we won't be missed, and others will fill our place. Just customers, not...

Today, we ate at the Jasmine Garden restaurant of Monument and had a great time.

We highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was great, as my daughter ate the Orange Chicken, my Wife ate the Shanghai Rice Noodle, and I had the Thai Panang Curry Chicken, along with the Cheese Wontons and Fried Chicken Wings we all had for appetizers.

The food came fast and tasted wonderful, the wait staff were very friendly, attentive, and high predictive and accurate of our needs.

The kitchen is set in the back and appeared very clean, yet busy. Another sign of a good restaurant, the bathrooms were neat, clean, and fully furnished.

The interior of the restaurant was clean and well furnished. During our visit, a good 20-25 people came for to-go orders and the dining room was always full.
