El Burrito Loco — Restaurant in Woodridge

I ate here 3 days ago and have been sick ever since with some sort of food poisoning. Within 2 hours I started displaying all the symptoms of eating something terrible.

These were the worst birria tacos I have ever had. I've personally never had this type of taco not served with cheese, onion or cilantro automatically made inside this taco. It usually is cooked all together, but different strokes for different folks. - I was really irritated they served me cold food. To top it off the food had ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR to it at all!!!!! Even the juice you dip it into was bland. THE RICE!!!....Well boxed mexican rice taste better than whatever they cooked up. I should have known something was wrong with the meat when it left a weird after taste in my mouth. I am assuming the meat was either old or not cooked all the way. I'm not quite sure, but that was the only thing I had eaten that day out of my norm and been sick ever since. They are by far the worst Mexican food I have ever had. That's not just because I am experiencing some of the worst stomach pain ever, but because their food didn't even taste good. It was NASTY!!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone and will never go back there.

I was in the area for haircuts and we had a taste for Mexican food and I tried this place on a whim. I ordered about $40 worth of food and my order was correct and since members of my family and I are very picky eaters, this is very important as. I had a couple of steak tacos and some rice. The supply of steak provided for the tacos was more then enough to fill me up and it was seasoned well as some restaurants I have eaten at in the past do not provide enough meat or they don't season the meat properly. Another good thing about this restaurant is the tacos that we had were not greasy. As I mentioned this was my first time going to this restaurant, so I ordered a small/regular order of rice and a large order of rice not knowing the size of the containers and I should have ordered just a couple of smalls as the large is a container full of rice so I have some rice leftover. As far as service, when I called to place the order around 530ish the lady on the phone said it would be ready for pickup in 10 minutes and I would say it took me approximately 5 minutes to get there from the barbershop and the food was ready. The cashier gave me a small cup for my drink, when the other lady, Carolina, always gives me a medium or large cup. But that wasn't the bad part. She didn't take it from the regular cups by the register. She took it from behind her, by the cooler/refrigerator. After I filled up the cup, I put the only lid that looked like it would fit on it. Well, after I got my food, the soda spilled all over me because she didn't give me the right lid!!! I was very pissed off!!! Then, after I got home,I realized that they gave me the wrong meat. Tge same woman ALWAYS messes it up!!! From now on, IF I go back, I will only go if Carolina is there. The man, who is the manager, isn't very friendly either. And his English isn't very good, either. (Which would be fine, IF they got my order right!!!) I came across the same treatment at another el burrito location. (They always messed something up!!!) Needless to say, I never go...
