Hands down the best Corned Beef Hash skillet I've ever had. Eggs cooked perfectly Over Easy. Cheese melted into the actual dish, not a cold shredded last ingredient top-off. My wife was almost emotional (in a good way) about her Chorizo skillet, specifically citing the quality of the cooked vegetables--crisp and flavorful working as a companion to her dish, not over or under cooked. Our server Gabby was prompt, attentive, accurate, and the kind of accommodating that made us feel as if we were sitting in her home. Lavazza coffee. For those that know, you know. For those that don't, come check this place out. We had the chance to chat with the owner Dimitri. Similar to Gabby it felt like we were at his dining room table. In a competitive sourcing/pricing environment Dimitri's focus is on quality and it showed in mine and my wife's menu choices. 10/10, no notes.

I would have liked my Greek yogurt less runny and more creamy, but the strawberries and blueberries in it were sweet. Plus it had lots of walnuts and an adequate amount of honey. I got a side of wheat toast and it was perfect. The coffee was good and strong. The server was great and very friendly. There’s sufficient parking although one entrance is currently broken up for some construction. My chief complaint was the handicap stall in the bathroom. For some strange unknown reason, someone thought it would be a good idea to put the grab bars in INACCESSIBLE spots: one directly behind the toilet and the other on the opposite wall 6 inches past my reach. That is not the concept behind having the grab bars.

I just looked up breakfast restaurants near me, and this one came up as the "best in town" from one reviewer. I think the hardest part about this restaurant was picking out something from the menu because it all looked great. I went with the stuffed loaded French toast. At first I thought "stuffed" meant it had lots of ingredients in it, but really it is how you feel after eating it. Just kidding, this blend of dipped French toast with very light whipped cream cheese, mixed fresh fruit, and a caramel sauce made for a decorative breakfast. My one complaint is that I don't live closer. Definitely worth stopping in.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would have. First, let me start off by saying that this isn't the first time I've gotten food from here. I worked in Woodridge from January of 2021 to September of 2023 and I would often order from here for takeout. Their omelettes, French toast, pancakes...BLTs.... USED TO BE so very very good. I decided to go back and introduce my Son to their menu. We couldn't decide between breakfast and lunch so we got a ham and cheese omelette and a Monte Cristo sandwich to share. When I cut into the omelette to split it between us, it was runny and uncooked inside. I cut it once more to see if the entire omelette was the same, and indeed it was. I flagged down a very disinterested waitress and let her know and she took it from the table. The Monte Cristo sandwich was cold enough that the cheese didn't melt on it. It was bland and unimpressive. The fries were cold, bland, and overcooked. When the waitress returned, she brought back the same omelette I sent back. They just slapped some more egg on it to mend it back together. I understand not wanting to waste, but there's just something about that that seems unsanitary to me. The best part of our meal was the toast and jelly. Never would I ever leave half a plate of food and walked away from a meal and not taken the rest home. But in this instance, I made an exception. We paid our bill, left our tip, and left everything behind. So...

Wanted to check out The Ridge after new ownership and disappointed to say our experience was not good.

A waitress sat us and told us she’d be right back to take care of us. A different waitress came instead and got our drinks and food order. The original server who sat us then came back to take our drink order like ten minutes later, as if the servers did not know their rotation. I also heard two other servers going back and forth about whose table was who’s out loud in front of all the tables, which was a little off putting.

My food order came out incorrect. Once the sandwich came out “corrected”, it still had pieces of ingredients on it that were wrong which told me the sandwich probably wasn’t truly “remade”.

Once we were done eating, it took a while to get the check. I could tell the waitress was truly trying, but for there being

Okay, I really wanted to like this place, but I’m not sure how to put a positive spin on being in a lunch spot for 90 minutes with food that can be made easily at home.

The server was nice, but she was in absolutely no hurry. We sat waiting to order for about 20 minutes before she came over. The food took more time than is reasonable for two wraps. The food was edible, but nothing special. The Mediterranean wrap was absolutely swimming in the vinaigrette. It was so overpowering, I just ate the chicken out of the wrap since the wrap itself was soggy.

Once we were finished we waited another 20-30 minutes for the server to bring the check. In the end we just stood up so she’d know we needed the check.

They were not busy, there were only 5 other tables in use during the lunch hour and she had time to chat with another table for 10 minutes.

We came here when it was still the Woodridge Cafe and didn’t like it then, and under new management and new branding, they have not improved. Hard pass and...
