Nancy's Pizza Woodridge — Restaurant in Woodridge

We have ordered Nancy’s Pizza consistently for over 30 years. We order from the Woodridge location once every week to 10 days. The delivery guy knows us well and chit chats about travel and life with every delivery.

Tonight we received a horrible, inedible pizza. It was burnt, dried out and had cardboard crust. I spoke with Bobby, the manager and even sent him a photo of the pizza. He repeatedly said the pizza was fine, that there was no way it was burnt, and refused to do anything. I guess Nancy’s doesn’t understand the value of a lifetime customer or the common sense of customer service. Well Nancy’s, You lost an avid fan and loyal customer tonight….And hopefully many more once people read this review and see the pictures of a so called “just fine” pizza. Its Tortorice’s for us from now on. They have delicious pizza….lower prices….quicker delivery…and phenomenal...

I wish I could give this place 5 stars so badly. I was lost and wanted pizza, so I found Nancy's and said I'll try it. I walked in and asked for a cheese pizza. the cashier said it would be about 17 minutes so I took a seat by the window in one of their few chairs. That's when I saw the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Even with this, from my seat I could see everyone in the back washing their hands and the tables in the back.

I finally got my pizza for a reasonable price and left. The pizza was one of the best I've ever had. The crust was simple but had so much flavour, the cheese was gooey and delicious. After a while, I had to go into a store so I left it in my car and it cooled down. when I got back the cheese was hard to rip apart and stick together but it was just as good as it was melted.

Manager called me a THIEF! After THEY neglected to add the 2-liter I requested to my bill, and hours after I got home and enjoyed my pizza, a manager named Jeremy called my cell phone to see if I planned on paying for the soda I STOLE. After 5 years of getting pizza from only this location, I was astounded by this aggressive and belligerent accusation. It's not bad enough their pizzas cost $30, and that they up-charge for sauces... now I have to get called a thief over a $3 drink?! If these employees treat customers like this to their faces, just imagine what they are doing to your food behind the scenes. STAY AWAY. I will be contacting corporate offices and the Better Business Bureau... hope it was...
