Pour House Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Woodstock

We were actually on our way to a neighboring restaurant/bar for a burger when PourHouse's sign for $2 tacos and $4 margaritas, plus the smell of those tacos, drew us in. We were immediately greeted by the bartender/waitress (Michelle) who said we could sit anywhere. The place was mostly empty except for a few patrons who sat at the bar. My daughter and I chose a window seat. Michelle was prompt to our table and quickly gave us all our taco options. My daughter chose 1 chicken and 1 ground beef taco on flour tortillas. I chose 1 chicken and 1 steak taco on soft corn tortillas with cilantro and onion and their tomatillo avocado salsa. Wow! Hands down that this place now wins my vote for best Mexican food in town. Who would've thought?! The chicken tacos were the winner, and I am not ashamed to say that I ordered 2 more of those chicken tacos! Oh and we each got a margarita. I went with classic and my daughter got a cherry lime. My first time here but I will definitely be back! Michelle is awesome and I am convinced she is the main reason people return.

Why 4 stars instead of 5 you may wonder...there were some delays in getting those 2nd set of tacos and then in getting the check. There is a charge...

Ugh! We went Sun 29th there was one other couple there at 5:30pm and then us a party of 3. I ordered a half of a Chicken Caesar Salad which in the new menu ( as was told by the waitress) price was $5.00 My daughter ordered a Taco Salad and my Caesar, as I was eating it already I noticed the chicken wasn't cooked properly and the middle was raw! My daughter got up to find the waitress to send it back. Now by the time my replacement salad came out my daughter and grandson were done eating and at that point asked for a to go box. Then got the check and not only charged me for the salad but charged me $6.00 and was told the prices went up! Really the menu read $5.00 the waitress went back to ask someone about it and came out and said that was the new price. I said no I'm sorry it read $5.00 and that's what I'll pay even though I thought I shouldn't even have to pay anything for the inconvenience of being served raw chicken when our table was the only table with food! If you go check your food and prices you'll be charged. We will NEVER go back again.....just hope I don't get sick from eating some of the chicken before I noticed...

I've been here 10+ times. 3-4 years ago I'd say it was a 4 or 5 star, but they've changed some of the good items and service has gone down considerably. (the Mac and cheese flatbread used to be my wife's favorite item in all of Woodstock, but they've changed it at least 3 times in the past 4 years, each iteration worse than the next).

Service had been ok but one time, ~6 months ago, we came in when there was maybe 4 people at the bar, we sat down, the bar tender saw us but continued to talk with her (I'm assuming) 4 friends at the bar. We sat there for 15 minutes until we left without ever having someone help us.

We did come back again after that in hopes that things had improved. We did get served this last time, but my wife and I were unimpressed.
