We are glad the Woodstock Tavern has opened and excited by their extensive menu that includes typical New England Tavern fare as well as several unexpected finds like Moussaka. There are at least a dozen more items that I want to try! We’ve made two trips since the tavern opened in mid November and our guests befall impression is that the Woodstock Tavern has potential. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is flavorful but on both visits entrees were served warm rather than hot. The halfside of ribs were good, pulled pork is above average, fish and chips great, and moussaka was flavorful. The beer selection is another opportunity for the Tavern to go from good to great. The boy “local” brew was Worcester’s Behoppy from Wormtown. With so many local options these days it would be nice to see some from the Quiet Corner - or at least from the state. The bar is big and vibe pretty loud. The dining room not as loud, though small. Even after 8 weeks the parking lot is full early on Thursdays and Fridays - so a good sign that the Tavern has great potential.

First time trying Woodstock Tavern. We were very pleased with the quality of food, our drinks and the atmosphere. We had the gyro platter and the portion was very generous. Definitely recommend this place. We will certainly be back.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Very happy for Dino and Ourania, they worked hard to get the Tavern opened up and they're doing a great job running it. Had a great time with the family and will definitely be back again soon!

This place has gone down hill so fast.

Food: They 100% went to a cheaper vendor that sells garbage for food. My burger was not Angus beef whatsoever. It tasted exactly like a Bubba Burger patty. On several occasions my soda (Coke) tastes awful. Too much carbonation, not enough syrup. I ordered my child a grilled cheese and it came with a pickle?!?! Why on Earth would someone eat a grilled cheese with a pickle is my first question and 2nd what child would ever like that combination?

Service: The waitress who served me was very pleasant, attentive, and friendly. However, she appeared to be the only one working while the hostess (older lady) was engrossed in her phone.

Atmosphere: The place looks great but the dozen of cameras everywhere makes me feel like I'm eating in jail while someone is constantly watching me.

It's a shame, not even a year in and it already looks like they are falling into the same hole Sherwoods did.

Will not...

Our server was great. She was very busy with a party of 19 on the other side. The food however, was very disappointing. I think they may have been short-staffed in the kitchen. Ordered calamari as an appetizer and as soon as it came out, I knew it would not be good. Calamari sat in the window for 3 bell rings..the calamari was all rings...I like a mix of tentacles and rings. It was overcooked, tasted frozen and banana peppers were cold. Strike one...server was still excellent. Next, ordered mushroom and swiss burger cooked medium rare. Burger came with lettuce and tomato..what? ...and was cooked well done, tasted burnt..I could not eat it. My sister ordered an authentic gyro with freshly carved beef and lamb...it was cold and definitely did not look authentic...all in all, service was great but the food found me wanting....i left hungry. I will...
