Culpeppers Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Worcester

If I could give a 0 star, I would have. I went thru the drive thru and ordered 2 sandwiches and a small coffee. I was asked to pull forward so they could help the customer behind me, figuring they would bring my sandwiches out when they were done cooking. No big deal. Well 12 minutes go by and still nothing. I call them and I am told it's going to be ANOTHER 5 to 10 minutes. I'm irritated now. So I'm placed on hold so the lady can check with the cook. A few minutes go by and someone else picks up the phone asking if I'm on hold. I explain what happened and she again said it would be 5 minutes. I'm like okay and tell her where I parked my car. She then tells me they do not bring out orders to people. I asked why I was asked to pull forward and how they planned on telling me my order was ready and no response, just repeated that they wont bring me out my order. So I go in and pick it up (had to wait a few minites). When I start eating my sandwich, it was not toasted, either sandwich, which I asked to be toasted. I will not be returning. We stopped in to get lunch for our family. We ordered what was on the menu exactly as is. The waitress was horrible. Eyes rolling, attitude, and slamming things. The food wasn't the best at all however, I would have gave them a second chance if the service wasn't so horrible. If you dont want our service instead of treating us horribly you could have just sent us elsewhere. I was appalled and disgusted at the waitress. We always tip when we get take out. As a fomer waitress for over 20 yrs I usually tip regardless. I refused to tip for our take out. thats how rude this employer was. She should not be a waitress at all! absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WHAT SO EVER. luckily we are nice people and treat people with respect regardless of their ignorance. We remained nice, polite, and even thanked her at the end.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid in the 90’s till today ! We love eating out specially after going to church to eat a good breakfast and a good cup of coffee. While we were placing our order the “COOK” & his “HELPER” were smoking and blowing the smoke on top of the food! My wife stared at him and he made a (what?) remarks! We had already placed our order and told the cashier to give us our money back. 🤮 This is unacceptable in so many levels of poor service and violates so many codes for restaurant health and safety !! I really hope the owner of this fine establishment sees this review!! Like I said I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and loved it until today.
