New Chef Ho — Restaurant in Worcester

I ordered the following: Combination L, extra spicy, with white rice; lg. Pork lo mein, wonton soup and an extra pint of white rice and eggrolls. Being Polynesian myself, I did not see anything traditionally Polynesian on the menu, with the exception of terriaki beef, which I did order (combination L). The menu was a typical American Chinese takeout menu. Having said that, the food I had ordered did NOT disappoint! I love me some American Chinese take out and overall my experience with this genre of food in the City of Worcester has been underwhelming and sometimes downright disgusting. I have ordered food from various American Chinese take out places within the city and I must say so far I have been a little bumbed not having a goto American Chinese take out.

There is another American Chinese takeout I thought could be the pennicle of American Chinese takeout in Worcester, but I must say, this little gem, will give them a run for my patronage.

The white rice was perfectly cooked (starchy/sticky, just like makuahine used to make), the teriyaki beef, not as traditional as I'm used to, but had a nice charred flavor and they did listen, when I asked for extra spicy (most restaurants do not do that)

The crab ragoons and eggrolls had a typical taste, but were NOT drowned in grease as so many take out places do around here.

The wonton soup, very nice touch with the addition of the snow peas and cabbage! Applause

Nothing was too hot were it burned your mouth.

Food portions are standard and typical for this genre of food.

So glad I found this hidden secret.

Hi Everyone ,Who else is feeling like they are getting taken for a ride? When you order food and taste like it's been fried over ,and over,Even a lunch special has become very poor? What happened too this place? We are all paying good money here and don't mind when the food is Awesome? But lately it's been no care attitude,No friendly ness or even being grateful for spending our money here anymore? If the people here are wiped out,from all the years here ,then retire? It's a shame when the care of the food doesn't matter then go? Better than taking all our money for over cooked food?there are Soo many good places out here now,don't think I'll be going back? I live by Chef Ho. Not only in general but specifically for Chinese Food. Taste is always on point and always quick and they're always polite. 5 outta 5 stars. I swear by this establishment. I think out of 100 times I had 1 "bad experience" & think it was something simple like wrong food and they fixed it immediately without hesitation. Anyways. I judge alot of Chinese places based on things I mentioned above.. AND sauce flavors, like teriyaki, duck sauce etc. again. I live/love by their Teriyaki sauce and I'm a harsh judge because it's one of my favorites. I cant say enough I love this establishment. If they would pay me in food to advertise I would do that in a heartbeat. Moved to worcester area a few years ago. Grew up in south shore, boston area and pretty sure this is my favorite place in any area I've lived. If not number one then maybe tied for one or number two. China Garden in raynham/taunton would...
