European Bakery & Pastry — Restaurant in Worcester

As a wife of a Polish American man, this place is a must for anyone who embraces Polish heritage. I really like Polish donut (called Pączki), even more than Dunkin donuts! When I come in Sat. morning, I pick up their bread rolls because they taste so delicious with butter / spreads.Their breads are nothing like a grocery shop's bakery department. Natural without preservatives. But you do need to finish the bread within a week or it gets stale or moldy. I definitely recommend this place. This is a classic Eastern European bakery; with a wide delicious assortment of WONDERFUL pastry/cheesecake/breads/rolls. If it's ethnic you're looking for, you'll be at the right place. The breads are crusty and filling; the variety of pastries are beautiful to look at, and marvelously wonderful to eat. The cheesecake is authentically POLISH, and the Paczki are the real POLISH doughnuts, NOT the pre-manufactured paste mounds you find in the grocery chains (sorry!)...

02/06/2021 OMG! Having just loaded up at the wonderful deli next door, I didn't think I could find another wonderful place but there it is! A "two-fer". A real bakery like the ones I grew up with in New York. Real Chruschiki! But what really made this a great stop was the kind lady behind the counter.
