Carnitas Aguascalientes — Restaurant in Worth Township

Not impressed. unorganized & slow dine in. Menudo was gamey. Yuck! Steak sope. Just ok. Masa too soft. Pass Carnitas taco decent and well served. Guess that’s all that can be counted on.?!?

Table salsa very good. The red has a spice that reminds me of mole… 🤔

We both had a Jamaica hibiscus water that was premade in cups in the fridge. don’t know how long they were there. Was this agua really fresca if sitting there?

Two guys in Kitchen but seemed that they prioritize pick up orders. There were other tables waiting and also loosing patience.

I Would have ordered more different dishes but service was so slow. Plus, there was only one old lady at front register ringing up pickup orders and serving at same time. Bad combo

We dined in on Sunday morning before lunch. Seating was clean buy is very tight. 5 tables. When the door opens all the cold air rushes in where the tables are. Not comfortable. Hey owners maybe get an Enclosed Entrance Awnings…?!?

I’ve been here a few times and the owner or who is in charge (same guy) ALWAYS tells me the costilla de carnitas didn’t come in on his order. I have even called before and ALWAYS said the same, if you don’t have costilla simply say that. I went this morning and of course he told me same thing about the costilla aside from that he was packing up my carnitas I asked if it came with salsa, he told me he’d give it to me this time! He asked if it was my first time there I said no. So I paid almost $16 for a pound of carnitas and couldn’t even include the small salsa! I have bought carnitas all over Chicago and this is the only place that apparently doesn’t even include salsas. This place is 3 min from my house, but I’ll be going to my usual places… good carnitas, cheaper prices, include small salsas and better...

Unfortunately I didn’t get any pics of my order as I took my food to go . This place is awesome !! I loved everything I got ! Definitely surprised to have gotten these great of carnitas while in the burbs usually you have to go to the city for the good ones but this place is great ! I got Carnitas tacos and pastor tacos with onions and cilantro and a side of rice allll amazing flavor and made Perfectly. I loved all 3 of the homemade sauces that came with it . Pared so well either way the carnitas ! I will be back ! I definitely recommend this place . Service was fast and great . Small area to eat if you choose...
