Las Islas Marias Chicago Ridge — Restaurant in Worth Township

Extremely disappointed by the quality and portion of the seafood we received last night. Ordered a Large tray of Longostinos & a half tray of the Chapuzon. Longostinos were severely over cooked to the point that the meat in the tail went to mush. Gross. The smell of fishiness was strong and the sauce was straight oil. I’ve had this same dish from the location in Berwyn and I have never had this issue before, following with the second tray of the half order we got, where is all the food? This big tray for it to barely be filled? $132 later and I’d never go back, pescado de tilapia was ok. Dry. All in all idk if we’d return. Excited to see a local gem but the quality just isn’t there for us. Hope to see changes in the future but hate that it has to cost that much to find out. Mind you, don’t even bother calling in your order if you aren’t willing to pay up front with a card, that they actually add a $20 charge too, which is wild. Ordered a fish, (huachinango zarandeado) it was super super dry & had no flavor at all. When I mentioned to the server how dry it was he said he would ask if there was anything they could do, he came back & said no. I asked for extra sauce to add on top, he said the kitchen said it would be at an additional cost. You would think if I am paying $40 for a fish it would atleast taste good or they would do something to want to keep me as a customer.
