Shortstops Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Worth Township

What a very nice gem, that we accidently fell upon. New owner, Nick, can not do enough to make the experience great. We had their cheeseburger and fries. Their meat is very high quality, never frozen, and so tasty and flavorable. The fries are made from real potatoes. and very fresh and tasty. Our server, Amy, was above and beyond, and took care of us, so attentively. The chef, Miquel, really does a great job, with all the wonderful preparation of the different selections. This restaurant is the real deal, and you need to give them a try. Nick is constantly making nice improvements to his new place, and again, it is a great place to have some drinks and a nice lunch or dinner. You won"t be disappointed. After presenting my driver's license (totally understandable) I was asked to present another form of I.D. ( I'm a hairy 35 year old man) with a birth date on it because the back of my Driver Licence had a scratch on it's magnetic strip and therefore would not scan (she was trying to scan the MAGNETIC STRIP with a bar code reader while covering up the bar code with her thumb). Great local sports bar & grill. Nice people, good service considering we were there on a night when they had live music by the PriSSillas. It was crowded but they had a few open extra rooms where we could sit, listen to the music, and order food off their pub style menu. I had to Shortstop burger, a double Swiss and mushroom burger with bacon and a very interesting Special sauce (I think it's bbq sauce mixed with mayo) that works well with the char broiled burgers.
