Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Wyoming

We came here just before 9 after our late night classes, so to be honest, we weren’t expecting much. With that being said, we walked up to the counter to a younger worker sweeping. He saw us, and yelled in the back, hey, we have customers. Another young worker comes out after we hear some clanking of dishes to take our order. I ordered the “2 piece chicken meal” and he questioned what I meant by that. I was slightly irritated, but I just proceeded with “the number 9” then my fiancé orders his meal and asked for an extra side of onion rings, which he repeated as a question. Then read back the order with out the onion rings. My fiancé asked again “did you get the onion rings?” He answers “oh, onion rings?” This was not a big deal, just slightly irritating. Then the guy who took our order started to make the food—AFTER NOT WASHING HIS HANDS—while the other worker literately just stood there. Finally the other guy says “can you get some onions and batter them” so the other worker grabs the onions WITHOUT GLOVES after just sweeping and did not wash his hands. The worker then takes the onions to the batter and dips them with tongs then drops them. While the worker was standing over the rings waiting, he stuffs his hands in his pockets while he stood there waiting. I’m pretty sure rule number one should be to wear gloves, two, wash your hands every time you touch something different, and three, never put your hands on your person. Aside from that, the place is always dirty, the soda taste like cleaner, and the fries were cold. GO HERE IF UOU WANT GROSS FOOD, HORRIBLE SERVICE, AND POTENTIALLY...

We were going to go to a different restaurant but stopped in here because we were hungry and didn't want a long wait for our food. Came in and the guy taking orders was friendly, but that's where the good ends. A couple minutes after sitting down we could hear them getting a big order in the drivethru. Fast forward 20 minutes and we still don't have our food. We hear an employee say they needed the fish tacos for our order because we've been waiting over 20 minutes. Not a minute later our food arrives and we specifically ask about the tacos. They assure us they were just made. Obviously a lie because they were barely warm. I understand fast food restaurants put a precedent on drivethru orders but this was ridiculous. Yeah you apologized for the wait stating you had an $80 order come in... but we also know we ordered first. For that large of an order they should have expected a longer wait or been told to come in. Obviously our almost $30 didn't mean anything to you so next time we'll know to...

I’ve heard stories about this location, but honestly have only ever had good food and really friendly employees. For a while, likely due to COVID, their hours weren’t consistent (sometimes they were open, sometimes they weren’t), but that all seems to have straightened out the past 6 months or so. My only complaint would be that online pickup ordering has been disabled the past month (I’ve checked all times of the day so it’s not that they’re busy), so we haven’t been able to get our fix. Many restaurants use apps these days and I think they could be losing out on a bunch of business. I know I can order and then have my app scanned, but that wouldn’t work for me, personally, for a variety of reasons. I can only do online pickup. If you do visit, check the apps...
