Every ignorant 1 star review gets outweighed with several 5 star reviews.
One I see, "food was bad", but the reviewer fails to mention it to the owners or wait staff who will gladfully make it right.
Another one I see, "No prices on menu" - boy howdy if everyone could realize the life of a local restaurant for the past 10 years when it comes to price of proteins has been an absolute roller coaster for prices. Price of poultry had more than tripled at one time, food suppliers literally forcing local food businesses to pay extra or order a lower quality cheaper alternative. I'm forever thankful cjs has kept its same meat, cheese and quality for decades. So if the price isn't marked, it's more than likely because food prices are literally like gas prices right now, always variable, but always affordable.
Attempting to destroy the livelihood of a locally owned business just off of reviews alone is a terrible thing to do, when all they've done for decades now is offer great pizza and subs to the community.
But anyways, awesome people awesome...
Read moreI called in a take-out order, one reg. Stromboli hold the peppers, three Philly steak subs hold the mushrooms and a basket of onion pedals. They said $42.98 and give us 40-45 minutes so I waited an hour before leaving my home and driving 15 minutes to get there. I get there and my order is wrong, even after it being repeated back to me over the phone! They apologized and said they would have my order fixed in 5-10 minutes, 40 more minutes go by and they appeared with my order or so I thought! I was so frustrated at this point that I just grabbed the bags and walked out. I suddenly realized I didn't get my Stromboli wow! And then noticed that my food was cold, all of it cold, even the Parr of the order that was supposedly corrected! That tells me it was just sitting back there, getting cold!! I would like to know why this place has went down hill and what's going on back there? Very disappointed long time loyal customer but it would take some real convincing to get...
Read moreUgh. We like to favor local places, but this place was horrible. While the food was ok, it was not great. The pizza was odd tasting, they use cheedar a d not mozzarella for the cheese and the crust has a strange burnt flavor when it is not burnt. Our sides came out 15 mins before the entrees, the pizza came out 10 minutes after the entrees. No word or explanation about why or even a mention untill we asked. What should have been a simple lunch took an hour and a half. Our 6 year old was the one who got the pizza and an hour wait is a bit extreme for a 6 inch one topping pizza. Everythong is served ala cart. Sandwiches are not served with sides, not even a pickles. Sauces or condiments are charged for. I have never been charged for mayo and such. While I hate to go to fast food, we would have been better off...
