Rarely in my last 23 years of frequent visits to this establishment, does it ever fall below expectation.
If you like sweet and spicy, I highly suggest the Sesame Chicken. Having visited no less than a 200 Chinese cuisine locations nationwide, it is BY FAR my favorite. Looking for something mild and homestyle? Moo Goo Gai Pan, or Broccoli Beef never disappoint. How about lots of flavor without being sweet or too spicy? Curry Chicken ordered mild or medium is an excellent choice. It's worth noting here that most any meal, regardless of traditional style, can be ordered with varying degrees of spice from "mild" to "very hot". If you're a fan of wasabi, try their "homemade mustard". If ordering takeout, specifically ask for "homemade" mustard or duck sauce for a much better flavor.
As for drinks and cocktails... the Flaming Volcano is an great party drink, and add an opening wow factor for a couple's night out. Coco Loco is a smooth gin-based drink, that delivers on flavor without being overly sweet. My personal favorite is a Gin Gimlet, ordered "no soda"... it's sour/sweet lime flavors and aromatic bitters prepare the palette well for a multitude of the above entrees (though a bit overpowering for Moo Goo Gai Pan). There are a host of other well-crafted cocktails, typical of many alcohol serving Chinese restaurants... along with a couple presumably exclusive drinks, that I have yet to see anywhere else. As for beer, I HIGHLY recommend Sapporo. It's clean finish and broad spectrum of flavor pair well with nearly any entree. If you've tried it elsewhere and didn't like it, you may do well to try it again here... as the flavor suggests a freshness I've rarely tasted.
My worst experiences here still trump many of my best at most other establishments. There have been MAYBE 10 out of the hundreds of both dine-in and takeout experiences here, that were different from what I expected. Notice, I said "different", not bad. This handful of experiences was a mere inconsistency, that still yielded a pleasant experience with flavor that I wasn't used to.
HEALTH TIP: The Oolong Tea saved my life! I'm not lying. I had been sick with an intestinal infection which not only stripped me of fluid and nutrition, but left me unable to eat for almost two weeks. On the brink of being hospitalized for dehydration and malnutrition, a local acupuncture provider suggested the tea from this location (available fresh brewed, or as loose dry leaves). After just one cup, the pains in my stomach began to subside, and I was back to eating within a day. Since then, I keep a large canister of the leaves, and it's my go-to treatment for most stomach ailments. I recommended it to a friend with Crohn's disease, who also had a...

I am unsure if everyone here ate at the same place I did, but this restaurant was fair at best.
To begin, all I have heard from locals is how great this place is and how they go here on dates and so on and so forth.
The bar was set pretty high.
I ordered the General Tso's Chicken...a staple of any Chinese restaurant. They did not have a combination platter of this so I paid extra for fried rice and an egg roll. I was also asked what kind of heat level I wanted my food.... from mild to hot. I ordered hot, because I like my food spicy.
The egg roll came out first. This is the first time I've had it served as an appetizer, but I was hungry and it turned out to be delicious. So far, so good!
Then...the main meal arrived. I was very excited and prepared for a delicious meal! An empty plate was placed in front of me, then a platter placed beside that. A platter full of ... vegetables??
Thinking I was given the wrong meal, I questioned the waitress, (whom was very polite and a very good waitress btw) but she confirmed that it was, indeed, what I ordered. Imagine my disappointment when I spooned a bunch of veggies and a few pieces of chicken onto my plate. It looked like something you would buy at a grocery store from the freezer section and reheat at home. Surely the taste would make up for appearance and lack of chicken, right? Wrong! It tasted exactly how it looked. It was the sweetest sauce I've ever had on General Tso's, and even though I ordered hot, there was not even a tiny bit of heat! (The fried rice was completely tasteless as well.) So, I slogged through eating it and begrudgingly paid the $11.40 bill for something I could have made at home for a quarter of the price. Save your money......

Waitress was dumb as a post. We asked if they had Fanta . . . She asked, "what's that?" We ordered 2 cokes (one with a lime), 2 sprites, and a lemonade. She read back three cokes (one with lemon) and 2 sprites. My wife (who is not American, so she has an excuse here), asked what is chicken chop sui. The waitress replied "I have no idea!" We all ordered a combo plate, which the menu says comes with fried rice and an egg roll. Most of us asked asked for noodles instead of rice. . .apparently that disqualified the entire order from being a combo plate, so we had to order the noodles and egg rolls seperately - like literally we had to specifically ask if we could have those things with our meal AFTER ordering combo plates. After all 5 of us ordered egg rolls, as she was leaving the table she asked how many egg rolls we wanted her to bring us. When she brought the egg rolls, after dumping one on the table (who knows if it was washed well before we sat down), she asked if we were ok with it, or if we wanted a new one. When the food was nearly ready, she brought us 4 dinner plates. . .for 5 people! Then, to top it off (pardon the pun) when she poured the refill for my son's drink, she poured it all over his hand and arm. . .no, not a little drip, a shower!
To save everything, we've been here before and the service was MUCH better!! And the food is pretty good, but tonight. ....
