We've always wanted to try a Cracker Barrel and I'm so happy that our first experience was here. Our waitress Brooklyn was phenomenal! She made us feel so welcomed in this small town. She gave us all the ins and outs of Wythville. She recommended places to visit, etc. Brooklyn provided superb customer service. We really enjoyed the crunchy fried chicken. It lives up to it's name with the crunchiness. I wasn't a fan of the country gravy, so Brooklyn brought me a side of brown gravy. The food portions were large. You will not leave there hungry. The broccoli was steamed and very good. The side salad was very crisp and served with a thick and tasty ranch dressing. If in the future we are passing through we'd definitely stop in again. My only disappointment was that they do not serve the fried chicken during the week. I was really looking forward to trying it since it is advertised on most billboards I've seen.

Stopped at about noon on a road trip from Florida to West Virginia. The restaurant was busy. Requested seating for one, was informed that the wait would be about 25 minutes, and was seated 35 minutes later. Service by Jasmine was prompt. Tea without ice was requested but was served with ice. She gave me extra napkins without requesting and since I always ask for extra this was a plus for service. The meal was received in a reasonable amount of time. Food preparation and taste was excellent. Cornbread was the chosen bread type, and: 1) it was overcooked to the point that it was crunchy on the outside and dry on the inside, but; 2) I surprisingly found this to be pretty good! You get a pass on this one, CB, but in the future I would prefer it to be normally cooked. The men's restroom was clean.

I like Cracker Barrel. I haven't been in one in Ohio. Very neat place. Great selection of Christmas items and other goodies. The food was not as delicious as the Cracker Barrel in Arizona that I'm used to attending. So, I was a little bit disappointed. I'm not sure if the waitress was new in the job, but she needs to be trained better. Brought regular bread and muffin, but I had to wait to see her again to ask for butter and jelly. I had a question about joining their rewards program, but she didn't know anything about it. Neither did she make the effort to find out the answer to my question. Sigh

Cracker Barrel has always been off my radar when it comes to dining options, but my recent visit to this particular Cracker Barrel has completely changed my perspective. It's incredibly refreshing to encounter a Cracker Barrel that has gone above and beyond to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Let me share my pleasantly surprising encounter and explain why this specific Cracker Barrel deserves all the applause.

As someone who has been underwhelmed by Cracker Barrel's food in the past, I approached this dining experience with caution; however, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a new level of culinary excellence. The menu at this specific Cracker Barrel location showcased a range of flavorful options that convinced me to give it a try. From the first bite, I could tell that significant effort had been invested in elevating their breakfast. The flavors were vibrant, the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was appealing. This particular Cracker Barrel went the extra mile to impress me.

Cracker Barrel's cozy atmosphere is a constant that can be found at this location. This particular Cracker Barrel distinguished itself by creating a truly inviting ambiance. The warm and rustic décor, coupled with the attentive placement of nostalgic elements, reinforced the homey feel that Cracker Barrel is known for. I felt like I was stepping into a quaint countryside retreat, offering a much-needed respite from the outside world. This distinct atmosphere added an extra layer of enjoyment to my dining experience.

This particular Cracker Barrel has completely altered my opinion of the brand. Despite my previous reservations, this location proved that with dedication and attention to detail, any establishment can rise above expectations. From the incredible food to the cozy ambiance and outstanding service, this Cracker Barrel has undoubtedly won my loyalty. If you, like me, have previously had reservations about Cracker Barrel, I urge you to give this particular location a chance. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised and experience a truly delightful dining experience that will change your perception...

Togo order here Wow!! Not sure where to start….

While traveling through on our way to Maryland we noticed the sign for a Cracker Barrel, which we haven’t been to one in years. Of course with the pandemic, I searched through the reviews to see what we were getting into. Majority of the low star reviews were more so wait time/short staffed issues so we placed our order and received an email indicating a 25 minute prepare time. We missed the exit (traffic) and had to go 15 mins out the way to another exit to get turned back around. When arriving on site the property was well maintained, the establishment was very clean and felt welcoming from entry to exit. The wait staff were polite and accommodating. Our order was exactly what we ordered, nothing over looked or missed. I ordered the southern Fried Turkey meal with the Baked Sweet Potato and loaded hash brown casserole * the turkey filets were cooked to a golden crisp perfection outside and tender on the inside *sweet potato with roasted marshmallows and candied pecans wasn’t at all too sweet as I expected, very well balanced (not stringy or over cooked) * loaded hash brown casserole goodness-how can you go wrong?! Lol My husband ordered the smothered hamburger steak with hash brown casserole and corn *he likes his hamburger steak well done and they nailed it and the corn was fresh with just the right amount of butter. Needless to say, our food was hot, prepared with care and absolutely delicious!!

Whenever we decide to travel through again, we will definitely have to make sure to dine in for an overall experience....

This was out first visit to this particular location, and probably the last, unfortunately. We were advised of an hour wait, but ended up waiting about 30 minutes. We used the wait to peruse the gift shop, which is the same as all other Cracker Barrels.

Our waiter was very nice (my 7 yo even commented on his politeness, which she never does haha). Our drinks came quickly, but we waited an additional 30 or so minutes for food (it was Sat evening, and I think they're a bit understaffed, as is everywhere, so that wasn't a huge deal).

I ordered chicken & dumplings, mashed potatoes with gravy and mac & cheese. The chicken & dumplings were okay, but really runny. The mac & cheese was super runny and just not very appetizing. Everything was not hot. It seemed as though the food was plated, then left to sit out for about 15 min. My 7 yo got chicken tenders and pancakes. She loved the pancakes, but took the chicken home, so can't comment on them. The biscuits were good.

The waiter, despite being very polite, was not very attentive. After bringing the food, he did not once check on us. I did see him peeking out from the kitchen a couple times, though.

Overall, it just wasn't very enjoyable. We did get some cute things in the gift shop, but will most likely choose a different location next time, even if it means a...
