Burger King — Restaurant in Xenia

Honestly, no wonder they're closing Burger Kings everywhere... It's a 50/50 split - food and service. The food is okay but the service is by far the pits! I've given this particularly burger king many tries, as it the closest to my residents. The next BK is about 30 mins away. My wife and I walked in around 545pm. We're the first people and only people in line. I went to the RR and came back, "she literally said no one has even talked to her" we stood there for about another 2 mins before being spoken too. Side note: there were only 3 cars in the drive through, no door dash orders Thank God! Total time is about 3-4 mins of waiting before even being spoken too. We order our food and now we wait...At this point there is another customer now behind us, who has the I've worked all day hurry the #$%& up BK look on her face. I tried using the Coke machine to get my beverage and everything I tried was either watered down or way over carbonated. I politely stood there and waited for one of the workers to notice me. (Standing there for around 2 mins) (customer behind me receives her food before I even get to ask about my beverage issues with the Coke machine.) Finally I tell the worker the community came machine is not working properly and i'd like to get a Hi-C fruit punch. I waited for about 3-4 mins for them to never produce a beverage. I waited so long, I decided to go sit down so I could eat with my wife before my food got too cold to eat. (Too late, food was just room temp) I ate half my meal and then went back up there to attempt to retrieve my beverage. When I reached the counter, the has the nerve to ask if I needed something. "My drink I've been waiting on" I calmly said (which has been about 10mins) "OH!" the worker said "the HI-C isnt working here either"... I literally told her "I'll take anything that's working, but I'd prefer a coke." So after a good 20+ mins I have a drink 😊. While this is all taking place, it appears there are people just loitering near the (children's indoor playground) they appear to be vagrants/homeless/drug addicts. They were walking in and out multiple times, it was a bit chaotic. You would think between 5-7pm this place would be pretty busy. (Its on main street) It was pretty dead in there... Which is due to the customer service, how quick you receive your food, and the clientele you allow to hang out. This is how you kill...

My family and I are currently at this location. We placed a mobile order and checked in at the counter. It has been 30 minutes since our arrival and there is still no sign of our drinks or food. I am unable to cancel the order via the mobile app. People have come and gone, and have received their food and drinks. This is very poor service for a not-so-small town. I live in a small town and even on their busiest days they still manage to provide amazing service. For what y’all charge, this food is not worth the wait. This is supposed to be fast food. Not coming here again. We are almost on 40 mins of waiting for our food…

Update after 1 hour: we finally got our food. Found out that the employee who is ringing up people behind the counter completed the order before we got our food. I would be more understanding if this had been after 20 minutes, but we waited an hour and didn’t block the line that kept forming. No one was concerned that we were sitting around without food. The customers who ordered in line got their food after minutes of waiting and we didn’t. If I had known how long it was going to take, I would have ordered more food, but I thought this was going to be quick, speedy service. I still stand by my words, we will not be going to a Burger...

I am not sure what has happened to this store, I am not sure if they are short staffed or the staff doesn't care about customer service. The people at the drive through are always short with conversation, often closing the window while you are asking questions or just shoving the food out the window. I am not sure if the recipes have changes but the food presentation shows they don't go beyond. My chicken nuggets have been cold and burnt the last few times and I never get the sandwich requests I ask for. (I.E: Onions give me a migraine, I ask for no onions and there is onions on the sandwich) I gave up requesting it be fixed and went to which nuggets which turns out isn't the move either. I'll keep an eye on reviews and see if this location improves...
